Hagen HG Fluval Rib Hose 14.5mm 106/107 and 206/207

Actually long enough to reach the filter if in the bottom of the cabinet. Length is adequate to cut in half and use for both intake and output. You couldnt do this with the tubing provided with the filter.

If you need to change the configuration of a Fluval 206 and cut the original hoses too short, this is what you need. The advantage over hardware store vinyl tubing is that this doesnt kink when it needs to bend.

Ordered this replacement hose for our Fluval 206 model because our cat chewed the original hose. This worked fine as a replacement. Fluval, please make some type of protection hose that will protect these hoses from getting chewed. We are LUCKY we were home when it happened or half of our 37 gallon aquarium water would be on our carpet. I love this canister, its super quiet. Cant even tell its on unless you watch the outflow port push the water But having said that its a huge risk if one of the hoses gets damaged. Very easy to have water all over the floor if you are not careful .

Come on Fluval, we already purchased the filter, the material cost here is minimal, and to give us another foot of tubing would cost you nothing. No way I would pay for 2 of these as I need more length. I just returned and purchased real tubing for fraction of price.

this dose fit my Fluval 206 just fine

This item comes up and says it is for the Fluval Fx4 and thats just not correct. It is tiny. Gladly I am returning it so easily but it does not help that I can not find the item I do need because of false and similar item referrals. Make sure it is the correct size you need for your filter before buying!
