Conceptually these are great light units. A retrofit fixture with such a low profile, color selectable, cost effective (consider the cost of a traditional can and trim), energy efficient, dimmable and IC rated. Sure ticks a lot of boxes.

Love them really easy to install.

Nicest feature is the ability to install it anywhere without concern over where the joists are. The selectable color temperature is a nice feature. I would have liked a slightly warmer option.

These are great lights with some awesome features. You can set the color to match any existing lights. Installation is a breeze, comes with a template for cutting hole. One of the best features I found is you can locate the fixture anywhere you want without without worrying where a rafter is. The fixture is about the same thickness a the Sheetrock and can be located even straddling a rafter.

Simple to install and chain them for larger areas.

Very good light, easy to install. Because it is a recessed light it casts light pretty straight down. If you want more flare, the flat install would be better but not as fancy.
