HALO 4 inch Recessed LED Ceiling & Shower Disc Light – Canless Ultra Thin Downlight – 5CCT Selectable- White - 6 Pack

I first bought LED lights from Costco, but they only dimmed about 30% before flickering (I installed the Lutron TGCL-153PR-WH dimmer switch). Then I bought the Tayola LED light off Amazon with same result, only about 30% dimming before flickering. Then I bought the HALO HLB6099FS1EMWR off Amazon. YEAH, no flicker when dimming all the way down to the light being barely on. Fantastic! I gave it only 3 stars for installation because it cannot use the existing 3 or 4 inch hole from the old light fixture, it needed a 6 inch hole. Not a huge problem, but it has to be done quite exactly because the outside edge of the new HALO light fixture only overlaps the hole by maybe 3/8 inch. If the hole gets cut too wide it would make a BIG problem. But I got it done and I love the lights! I replaced a 45 year old incandescent light fixture in a 9 x 13 bedroom. The light fixture was right next to the closet at the far end of the room and adjacent to the only window. The other end of the room, by the door, was always dark. I added a second new light toward the other end of the room. It is awesome now, thanks HALO!

Great product

Wow is it bright. I planned to put 3 in our walk in closet. After installing 2, we decided is was bright enough. Very easy to install. I used the box cut out to their template. Made it easier to draw on the ceiling. Use a stud finder to make sure you don’t hit anything. Plan on getting more and try the 4” size too.

installed over a shower. Easy to install and wire. Quality is very good. Its a plus that the color can be adjusted from cool to warm.

These lights were the perfect solution for our basement renovation. There is a lot of duct work and low ceilings to traditional recessed lights. These are dimmable, have several light quality settings and they are wifi!

I bought 7 of these Halos and only 6 worked. Waited too long to return for refund. Now Im stuck with a bad one. Sometimes best to buy local. Then I could have returned it.
