> 3 dayMy husband and I just welcomed our 1st baby 2 weeks ago. From day one our daughter really didnt like being swaddled. She would kick her feet and wiggle her way out of anything, no matter how secure it was. My husband and I were having to take shifts holding her at night because she just would fight sleep and would refuse to sleep on her own. I ordered a few different swaddles and sacks but nothing worked and she would just cry and find a way to be even more uncomfortable. In a last attempt, I ordered the Halo sleep sack and to our surprise, she slept on her own and was much less fussy too. Im hoping that we found the solution... So far so good :)

> 3 dayI used the Halo sleep sack with my son and loved it so much now I am using it with my daughter. The Velcro option is nice because it gives you the ability to swaddle the arms but aides with the transition to a traditional sleep sack by having the option to swaddle both, one, or neither arm. She is a winter baby in a very snowy, cold place. She has stayed plenty warm with a onesie, fleece Jammie’s, and this swaddle. It is very easy to use. As my husband says, “I can even do it.” I would definitely recommend.

> 3 dayI received a micro-fleece halo sleepsack swaddle at my baby shower and was shocked how much better my newborn slept in it compared to any other swaddle. I had to buy more! Only downside to this one is that it doesn’t have the dual zipper like the one I was gifted, but that’s easy to get used to. My daughter loves to sleep with one arm out and this makes it easy to achieve that.

> 3 dayThis only has a single zipper which makes it not very convenient. It is hard to align the single zipper in the dark and you have to turn on the lights. Double zipper was so much better.

> 3 dayGood for winter, but way too hot for spring or summer

> 3 dayThis fleece is too warm, even for winter. I keep my house at 65 at night and this thing had my baby sweating. It also rides up on the flap over part to where it is at baby’s chin/lower mouth; I’m not comfortable with that! I love the quilted, warm “love to dream” brand zip up swaddles much better.

> 3 dayCons: soft fabric= warm. Our LO runs hot - so we have to be careful about no socks or mittens and a short sleeve onesie or he over heats. Velcros- always triggers his startle reflex when I we have to open it. And isn’t strong enough to hold down his hands which he fights to his face every time. If you LO doesn’t struggle to have hands up by his face, you live in the cold, then this is a soft option, easier than transitional swaddle IMO

> 3 dayThis worked perfectly for our baby! So easy to get her swaddled and the fabric is so soft but it does pill right away.
