> 3 dayThis definitely helped my baby sleep better which lead to us sleeping better! He wasn’t able to get out of this and slept peacefully in one position with it all night. Did such a good job at subduing his startle reflex. I’m sad he’s outgrown this because he’s starting to become more mobile and getting close to rolling over but I’d recommend this to everyone. We always had peace of mind when he slept in this knowing it would safely keep him on his back and he couldn’t wriggle his way out of it.

> 3 daySuper frustrated with this product. I absolutely love the sleepsack, which is why I wanted to order this one. I got one when I left the hospital but wanted a girlier one for my daughter for fun. Upon putting the sleepsack on her I noticed the zipper is backward. It is supposed to zip from the bottom up and this one zips from the top down. I am not sure if this is a one off mess up by manufacturer or if they changed the way the product is made. It does make it nice to change the diaper without unzipping the whole thing but Im nervous about accidentally catching her neck skin in the zipper if shes squirming while Im putting it on.

06-01-2025Great, only complaint is that it only has one zipper instead of 2 zippers. It’s annoying to have to unzip the whole thing at night when she’s sleeping, just to change a diaper. Putting that zipper on discreetly (while she’s sleeping) is super annoying, even more annoying when it wakes her up.

Greater than one weekThis is wonderful!!! My little girl just outgrew her NB size Swaddle so we got this one. Most nights her arms stay in. Its soft and warm. We keep the house cool to sleep and shes not too warm for this and a warm sleeper. She loves to kick her legs and this allows her to continue to do that. I had a few others I tried earlier but not has good as this one. Large swaddle blancket - doesnt work with out little Houdini escape artist. Kiddopotamus SwaddleMe Microfleece - okay, but not great. She could more consistently wiggle her arms free and there wasnt much leg room. Okay the first few weeks when she didnt squirm as much but not great after that. Velcro was smaller and not as large of area to adjust to fit her as she grew. Other sleep sacks where just sleeveless - they work great for just a blanket that they cant pull over their head, but not much help to stop her from startling herself. I hadnt tried the one with arm slots - miracle blanket From birth to about 2 months old she just wasnt sleeping well at all, she constantly woke herself up when her arms would suddenly move - it startled her. So with much trial and error, I found the solution to my baby sleeping all night: this swaddle sleepsack (her arms stopped waking her up), her monkey wubbanub pacifier (monkey keeps it in her mouth as she pops it in and out (most of the time), munchkin nursery projector/sound machine turned to heartbeat & projector, mattress at a slight angle (seemed to reduce reflux) = baby sleeping all night 6-10 hrs!!!! PRAISE the LORD for sleep!!!

> 3 dayI highly recommend the HALO sleepsack swaddle. Every new parent should have one in newborn size. Get it before he or she arrives, so you save yourself a trip to the store in those first few days! For the 2 days in the hospital and the first night at home, we swaddled our little girl in receiving blankets (tried waffle weave, thin & stretchy, thick & strong types of blankets). Well wrapping her in blankets didnt last long because she got out of them, and with her arms flailing she kept waking herself up. Not to mention, I lost sleep worrying if the suddenly loose blanket would suffocate her. After the 1st night at home, we stopped by Babies R Us and bought 3 different brands of sleep sacks. We ended up trying this Halo Swaddle Sleep sack, and the Summer Infant one (We didnt even try the swaddlepod. Just looked scary, so we returned it). Well the Summer Infant swaddler was really cute. It worked for the first little bit, but when she got *a little* bigger (like a few weeks), the velcro stopped holding. Either she got too big, or after a few times in the wash the velcro became useless. I think its a combination of both. As for the HALO Swaddle, she has been using it every day and night. My quicktake on the item: SIDS prevention: I have NO concern with this item, no more than any other general concern I feel for my baby all of the time anyway. Yes, sometimes she is able to loosen the tight wrap a bit, and it comes up above her mouth. However...this can happen with any sleepsack or receiving blanket. Plus, if its coming up a little higher then it is looser. Its not tight over her mouth (as some reviewers have claimed) Our own sleep: Every once in a while, my husband thought hed wrap her in a receiving blanket...hes incredible at swaddling, but she could get out in 10 minutes. We have never had better sleep than with this product. It is rare that she can get out of it. This is a baby that kicks and flails constantly. Appearance/fabric: The fleece factor is not my favorite. If you have ever owned a fleece jacket, you will know that it attracts every hair, fuzzball, what-have-you in the vicinity. Its also quite warm. Obviously we have AC, but during the hot hot summer we kept her in tshirts + sleepsack. For this reason, I didnt always feel comfortable putting her in her cute footie pajamas. Now that were hitting fall, i am able to put her in regular pajamas when using the sleepsack Size: She was born 72 and 20 inches. The newborn size lasted us till now at 10 weeks. She is currently 102 and 22 inches. I am back to order the small size because her feet are about to hit the bottom of the blanket. Quality of velcro: It has been through several washes, and I see no difference in the velcros ability to hold. Unlike the summerinfant brand. We always try to remember to close the velcro before washing. Other reviews: (1) mention of loops in front - I dont see these 2) claims about losing teeth? - I have no idea how this would happen. The zipper starts at the top and comes down so the pull-tab ends at her feet, so how a baby could cut her teeth on the zipper I dont know. Many pajamas have zippers so I dont know how this is any different.

> 3 dayThis works great for swaddling. We started with swaddling the hands in and now we swaddle the arms out. My son loves to and keep some nice and warm. Great quality and product. This velcro works great. Highly recommend

> 3 dayI had a small issue with my order, and customer service made it more than right. Its very difficult to find a company that goes so far out of their way for a single customer. That being said, these have been a lifesaver for my sister and her husband. Traditional swaddling takes a lot of practice for exhausted first time parents, and this takes the guesswork away. Her husband was already singing Halos praises on day one home from the hospital. Baby G loves it too! 10/10

> 3 dayThe microfleece swaddle is excellent!! Great buy; well made product! My daughter got the cream, newborn size. It was warm and cozy for newborn--7lbs 4oz, 21 inches. After a couple of weeks, he was sweating in it though. Just adjust under clothing. I love that it has zipper from both the top and bottom for easy diaper change. The velcro made it easy to re-swaddle baby for those of us who dont know how to swaddle. Ethan just loves it and knows it means bedtime. Its great for babies that move A LOT, so they can calm down. It also has multiple ways to be wrapped so you dont feel like your baby is forever confined. My grandson loves it so much that I got the next size up--blue, small size which he has already grown into it at 4 wks old. Hes gonna be a tall one; grew 2 1/2 inches in 4 wks! So, its best to consider childs length before considering weight. Looks like Ill be getting the next size shortly. Maybe Ill try the cotton one, hmmm.
