Hangman Anti-Tip Kit to Prevent Furniture Falling-Steel (TK-400-2)

Does the job and makes me feel like my daughter is safer around her large dresser.

The install on this product literally took me 5 minutes. It was very intuitive and appears to be a great solution. I havent had the gall to tip over the 200# bookshelves these are securing to ensure that they hold, but I did pull on them as hard as I could after install and they didnt budge.

This works. I was getting lunch ready and my 2 year old started to climb on our blue chest. The anti-tip kit protected her. We will be buying more!! This is what it looked like after I ran over to grab our little girl.

I bought these products as a part of an earthquake-readiness effort. I had researched a lot of different ones and I am so very pleased with these. They are extremely easy to install, even if you have limited handyman skills. The only tools I needed were a stud finder, measuring tape, and drill. I installed 4 sets of them by myself in about an hour. The pictures and video on the page are very helpful.

Pretty sure if you install a pair of these properly, it could hold a car in place.. they are seriously sturdy!!! The piece we have a pair of these installed on is extremely heavy.. installed two clips and the piece is not moving at all.. Pros: + extremely sturdy + good hardware (screw heads dont break, etc) + directions are pretty self explanatory, nice they give you different options + pretty easy to install (find stud, screw one end in place, install other end under furniture top and clip wire into place, done) + the clips can be undone to move the furniture Cons - sold individually, will add up if you are doing multiple pieces - does a little damage to the back of the piece (wasnt a real negative as its the back and it is pretty minimal) If you want the best, get these.. worth the investment

While the design is obviously for wooden furniture, the kit also works great on wire media rack type shelving, provided its very close to the wall. I have a media shelf thats roughly 6 tall, and has never been as stable as I mightve liked. Yesterday it toppled, hitting me in the head, and I immediately ordered this kit. While my method should perhaps be taken with a grain of salt, as its not the manufacturers intended use, by using the wall mount and a single pin/clip, you can loop the steel cable through the wire of the media shelf, putting the pin through both ends of the cable, and secure the shelf to the wall this way, even though theres no surface on which to install the second mount.

Excellent customer service. One of the parts was defective so I emailed to let them know and two days later a replace piece was in my hands. Super easy to install. I did six in less than an hour.

These are definitely the best anti-tip products Ive seen and used. The all metal constructions is exactly what I wanted and these are now the only ones Ill use. The mounting instructions the great (super simple to install even if they werent) and the product is super strong. After installing I tested it on a couple of the shelves and the office furniture, and it worked great preventing a tip over.

Cheaper kits can be found, but this one is all metal and very sturdy instead of plastic zip ties. Clevis pins let you detach easily for cleaning behind furniture without weakening the strength of the hold.
