Works really well. I used it for the TV in my sons room so they don’t knock it down off their shelf. I used all the nails (just in case) even though it felt really secure with just half of them. I did not use the security string/wire because no one will be pulling at it. I used my own level after reading the reviews about the included level (little piece of plastic garbage). And I got it perfectly straight. I did put a small 2x3 block that was 3/4 of an inch thick behind it to keep it from tilting downward. It worked like a charm. All in all the product works great. And it shipped fast. I have zero complaints.

When I brought the product I was real Skeptical that it would work. This is the real deal. I put it in my 15 year old son room to mount his 50” TV. It was a surprise for him and it was easy to do and it’s not going anywhere. It’s so easy that I was able to mount it by myself and believe me I am not a handy person at all. The total time it took was 15 minutes and that included reading the directions which was straight forward and not confusing. This product is a must have for renters!!!

I am not Handy Mandy and I do not trust myself with building, hanging or moving anything... it this right here!!!! This has changed the game for me! I can do anything after installing this.... lol. It was super easy. And my t.v is secure and still hanging in there. All I needed was a hammer and that little leveler thing and we were all set.

I will admit I was not sure if this would be as easy as everyone said, however it was. I did have an issue that was easily solved by adding the spacers at the top to make the tv lay flat on the wall. The bottom part of my TV was bumped out and when I first tried it without additional spacers the tv would not lay flat and you could not see the tv screen it pointed to the ceiling! Used the provided spaces and problem solved! So this is a YES in my book, this is easiest one I have installed, since mine was a smaller tv, I did not have to screw a bolt into a stud and was able to use just the dry wall toggle bolts (provided).

This was the best decision I made. My daughters room doesnt have many studs without electrical wires attached. (According to our stud finder) So this was the safest option outside of a tv stand. Make sure you use the leveling device included for the best results. Remember the security wire stops the tv from sliding or being removed.

Where has this been all my life??? Kudos to whatever laws of physics that makes this tv mount work without wall screws anchors or studs! It was so easy to put up, I was afraid to trust it at first. It says each nail holds 10lbs. My TV weighs about 60lbs, but I used all the nails provided (at least 10 or more). It even tilts so that you can access the rear ports. If I had to come up with a con, the tv is not level against the wall as theres a slight forward tilt at the top. Thats really a non issue though. Note that if you need your mount to tilt or swivel, this is not for you.

They sell this at Walmart as well, which is where I originally bought this tv mount and decided to buy another one via amazon (Same price). I’m just mad that I have spent $150+ to have someone mount a tv before! I wished I knew about this then! It’s super easy! However, for my 55” tv, it was hard to screw in the wire down the middle, because you have to hang tv then tilt up and there wasn’t much space to drill. Tv pictured is a smaller tv so you can see where I drilled the wire in the wall (I think it’s a 45”?) Note that the middle hole to hammer the nails is NOT centered. I realized that after I hung the first TV (although it wasn’t off by much). For the second tv (pictured) I just measured the piece and used a pencil to mark the actual center by the nail holes on the mount. Can’t beat the price!

Its great. This is my third one. The first one I got from the Hangman website and my sister ordered one from Amazon a few months later and it arrived fine. Then I ordered another one from Amazon but it came defective. The holes were not spaced evenly like the other two, the middle hole was not in the middle, and the back foam was damaged. I ordered a replacement and that one came fine. Just make sure you dont receive a defective one because your TV kind of depends on it. Returning it was annoying but the replacement came quickly.

Im not sure why this product isnt advertised more; after searching through the countless wall mounting solutions on Amazon I stumbled across this and initially thought it sounded too good to be true. The other mounts were bigger, bulkier, more complicated to install, and more expensive. Im capable and I know how to install and put things together - but that doesnt mean I want to spend an hour doing something that can be accomplished in minutes. Call me lazy, but not having to find a stud, pull out my level, or use anything except the hammer and screwdriver I keep in the kitchen drawer anyway were major selling points. It took less than 10 minutes to install, is perfectly level, and incredibly sturdy. I thought I might have trouble because the tv I bought this for was a bit older, but it worked great. I wish Id discovered this years ago - I wouldnt have hesitated to hang the tvs as long as I did and could have saved some money over the regular kits I bought at retail stores. This will be my go-to from now on, its so easy to install that its ridiculous. In this picture I hadnt installed the wire hiding kit yet so dont judge. Years ago, I had a TV mounted on the wall in my bedroom. It is a monster and would have held a tank--except the holes in my new Smart TV (42 Samsung) didnt line up right. I tried a lot of things to make it work, but quickly came to the conclusion I needed a different hanger (the old one weighed 13 pounds). Amazon had so many to choose from I was having difficulty until I saw this Hangman No Stud model. With prime, it arrived quickly and I (me, 74 year old grandma) had it up on the wall in less than 10 minutes. The only help I needed was a grandaughters who helped me lift it onto the hanging rack which placed the TV perfectly over the dresser, 1 inch from the wall. My TV doesnt weight the 80 pound limit discussed in the description, but I still needed a helping hand to get it over the dresser (Im 5 tall, used to be 52!). Other than that, couldnt have been easier! No, I cant swing it out from the wall and watch from different angles, but I never intended to. This is a GREAT product, both for ease of installation and price.
