> 24 hourWell! Its been 48hrs and my 42 TV hasnt come crashing down yet so Id say so far, so good! I really had some doubts and I really hope Im not jinxing it by leaving an early review. My tv is one heavy a$z plasma circa 2009 weighing in at 53 pounds and some change. The Hangman is rated up to 80 pounds so I know that gives me 27 pounds of the grace area but it sure felt like I was thumbing my nose at the laws of physics upon initial hanging. My only gripe so far is a minor one concering the safety cable. The slot they have in the bar that attaches to the TV that the safety cable is to be passed through is very thin. And the body of the eyelet and the body of the end of the safety cable are nearly the same. So in order to get the eyelet to pass through the slot, one has to get inventive so that the other end of the cable doesnt get yanked through the slot if the unfortunate happens. I will update this review in the weeks and months to come

> 24 hourThis was the best decision I made. My daughters room doesnt have many studs without electrical wires attached. (According to our stud finder) So this was the safest option outside of a tv stand. Make sure you use the leveling device included for the best results. Remember the security wire stops the tv from sliding or being removed.

> 24 hourThe only thing which was a bit difficult was installing the nail in the string which goes behind the tv.

> 24 hourLove this easy to install wall mount! I liked getting it refurbished... But if you choose that (or with any purchase I guess) , be sure to check that all parts are included. My first delivery was missing an important part, and customer service was awesome! Had another on its way before I could mail mine back. Wonderful customer service experience and great Orton for my tiny rental apartment. Takes up no real estate in the room and the real will patch up so easily bc its just a few tiny holes like a picture hanger. And its very very sturdy!

> 24 hourI will admit that I was very skeptical about this product when I first saw it. It doesn’t seem like it should work, but it does, and it works REALLY well. It is exactly as described. Basically, it is just really good engineering. The clever design means no drilling and no studs are required. You can have the TV on the wall in less than 10 minutes. The included spirit level is super handy, as are all the VESA screws for all kinds of TVs. If you don’t need a swivel arm, then this is the mount to get. Hassle free installation that you can trust.

> 24 hourI was very impressed by this device. I had my doubts like anyone else. It takes a hammer and a drill or screwdriver. I have 58 tvs I was installing in my apartment. This leave small holes that are easily filled with toothpaste without notice. Its very study and I never worried about it falling. The tvs are still up without incident. I highly recommend anyone to buy one of these instead of a bulky mount you need a stud to hang.

> 24 hourI will admit I was not sure if this would be as easy as everyone said, however it was. I did have an issue that was easily solved by adding the spacers at the top to make the tv lay flat on the wall. The bottom part of my TV was bumped out and when I first tried it without additional spacers the tv would not lay flat and you could not see the tv screen it pointed to the ceiling! Used the provided spaces and problem solved! So this is a YES in my book, this is easiest one I have installed, since mine was a smaller tv, I did not have to screw a bolt into a stud and was able to use just the dry wall toggle bolts (provided).

> 24 hourThis product is extremely easy to install yourself in almost any type of wall because it distributes the weight so well. This works in drywall or plaster in my opinion. I double checked the position by sliding the provided level across the wall and started by putting one nail in the center and then carefully at one end using the level. Once I was sure it was level I carefully put in a half dozen more. You don’t need to use all of the nails provided! After I hung the TV I realized that one side seemed a little higher than the other and I took the TV off and realized I just needed to make sure the screws on the back of the TV were positioned properly. It looks great and hangs fairly close to the wall, depends on the back of your shape of the back of the TV though as well as you can see in the pic. Make sure not to put it too high though since there isn’t any repositioning or adjusting for different viewing angles. With a deep and low sofa this was mounted on the wall at about 44” off the ground for example. Always good to put tape at eye level on the wall too see what works for you depending on distance and conditions.

> 24 hourExtremely easy to set up. Please still purchase even if you feel intimidated about doing it by yourself. Directions are easy to follow. It took me less than 1 hour to set up by myself. There is also a Youtube video to follow along if you search on Youtube. Best Wishes!

> 24 hourWhere has this been all my life??? Kudos to whatever laws of physics that makes this tv mount work without wall screws anchors or studs! It was so easy to put up, I was afraid to trust it at first. It says each nail holds 10lbs. My TV weighs about 60lbs, but I used all the nails provided (at least 10 or more). It even tilts so that you can access the rear ports. If I had to come up with a con, the tv is not level against the wall as theres a slight forward tilt at the top. Thats really a non issue though. Note that if you need your mount to tilt or swivel, this is not for you.
