Truly. Without overselling it. First day out. This attachment’s ingenious design made a huge difference in vacuuming my hardwood floors. (My house is entirely hardwood.) Compared to the floor attachment that came with my lightweight canister, the bristles on this attachment glide across the hardwood much easier, lighter, than the typical nylon brittles. Hopefully this will reduce wearing down the floor’s polyurethane finish. The narrow design and swivel neck allows for easy vacuuming under low clearance furniture and in tight areas. And the slight cutaway of brittles in the front not only enables better vacuum on open floor surface, the cutaway also enables better suction when vacuuming along the baseboard. (When the attachment is held parallel straight on and not perpendicular to the baseboard....if that makes sense.) Lastly, and more importantly, the attachment fits the hose perfectly without falling off. Sometimes it’s hard to believe a $6.99 item can make such a profound difference in daily drudgery. Yes, a profound difference.

Easy to maneuver

Bought this to fit on the end of my Hoover upright. . Perfect fit and works better than any attachment to get up dog hair . The hair does clump on the brush , but this is my solution to dog hair on hardwood floors

I clean houses for a living & stopped using 2 vacuums many years ago (1 for carpets & 1 for floors). I have a decent Shark vacuum that is supposed to work for both, but Ive never been happy with any upright switching to bare floors. I wanted this attachment for that purpose, and it works like a charm. I use it on ceramic tile, laminate, and wood floors. Good suction, gets up kitchen crumbs, human & pet hair. I did need to buy an adapter for my particular vacuum, but this seems to be a standard size & will probably fit many vacuums out there. With the adapter, it fits perfectly on my vacuum. The horse hair brissles are thick and strong yet soft on the hardwood floors. Be sure to measure to hose connection for a correct fit. I would buy this again.

This is a second one I bought. Works well the first one but it finally worn out.

I bought this as an attachment for my Bissel canister vac and its perfect for my hardwood floors! The one that came with the vac was just plastic and I was afraid it would scratch my new floors. This is very soft against the wood and doesnt seem to hinder the suction of the vacuum at all.
