When I first received the Bluetooth speaker I was having difficulties with connection and contacted the vendor to return the item. Well I decided to keep it and give it a second try and what do you know, it turned out fine. I connect it to everything from my cell phone to my smart tv. The sound quality is movie like and the boost is awesome. Im thinking about ordering two more for different parts of the house and using it for cookouts.

Sound is great for my backyard parties

I bought the Onyx 4 for my mom (who loves listening to music) for Christmas in 2019. I purchased it for $119. My first experience with this speaker was at a coworkers house warming. I was surprised by how good it sounded in her living room. Later, I watched multiple reviews and demos of it on YouTube and read Amazon reviews, all of which gave it great positive reviews. Thats what made me decide to buy it for my mom. This speaker not only looks good, it sounds absolutely phenomenal. Im actually listening to it now at her house and the bass sounds so good. In hindsight, I wish I had purchased one for myself because the price of the speaker has skyrocketed due to popularity. It would have been fun to pair two together.

This baby generates great sound and above average bass for a blue-tooth speaker. You can actually see the driver moving while the music is playing. That is probably why the battery life is so short for this speaker (less than 2 hours at full volume). It probably takes a lot of juice to move the driver the way it does. If you dont mind keeping this plugged in, however, you are going to get a lot of enjoyment out of it.

This speaker provides a very clear sound. I’ve always had Bose speakers and considered them the best, which most of the time, they are. But this speaker gives them a run for their money. I’ve been very happy with it so far.

I like the sound quality, design and everything and I believe that Harman/Kardon will improve the quality of battery life.
