I am a middle school teacher and bought this for school to be played during an end-of-the-day activity period. As expected, its a hit. The newer design isnt flimsy like I feel some newer games have become-- theres a little initial setup (punching out plastic boats and dividing up the pegs between 2 boards), but after that, its smooth sailing (pun intended). Its a great game for a variety of ages, easy to catch on, fun to play, and keeps kids occupied a while. I am as much a fan as I was when I played as a kid!

The biggest problem we have is that the pegs are so small theyre difficult for people with normal fingers to pick out of the tray. My 6y/o even says theyre too small. II like the idea of the smaller, travel size. I really liked the way the two trays for together. But the normal sized game is still small enough for travel and the pegs are easier to handle.

Old School game for 2 players. Strategy and a little luck. My wife and I enjoy it.

We grew up with this game and love it. Still play it. we know a co-workers son who loves setting up battles and such. Gave it to him for Christmas and he loved it. It was just what he always wanted. Go figure. It was a hit with a boy who regularly plays computer games and videos. That speaks for itself. Highly recommend!

Flimsy components Very light material Game pieces gets messed up if shaken mistakenly Letters and numbers are printed with the same color as background so hardly visible for the kids. I tried painting them with permanent markers so atleast we can enjoy the game but the paint doesnt stay.

My son was so excited to receive this game for Christmas. Hes been playing it non stop!
