> 3 dayI bought this game in September for a Christmas present for my grandchildren. I put it directly into a safe place upon arrival, so prying little eyes couldnt find it. My daughter just opened the box to play the game with her children and some of the pieces are missing and a piece is broken. I dont know what happened, all I know is that I took great care to protect the game. Not the way I wanted this to go for my grandkids.

> 3 dayI got this for my 34 year old boyfriend for his birthday in June, since he had never played it as a kid. His obsession has just begun to die down 4 months later. His two complaints- the pieces are too small for his man hands, and the board doesnt light up/make exploding noises when he sinks a ship, which he reminds me of every time we play. Boys will be boys. Good buy.

> 3 dayMy children had this game and we all loved playing it. I got it for my grandsons birthday and the whole family had a great time with it. Gotta get the children off electronics from time to time, it really is a fun game.

Greater than one weekThis game was long wished for , and is becoming the best desired game by all. The young ones are amazed, and the parents are having great time of nostalgia. Very well made set. Simple rules but you can adjust them to make a bit harder or a bit easier.

> 3 dayNot purchased through Amazon. I was looking forward for a modern version of Battleship to play with my kids. I was greatly disappointed with the quality, I actually came to the Amazon product page thinking I had been sold a cheap knock-off.... Apparently not, everyones complaining about the same issues - grid letters are almost impossible to read (i have to manually count rows/cols), - cheap looking models with obvious burrs when broken off, - no sealable cases/bags for small parts. As another reviewer said, back to pen and paper!
