Haute Decor Adapt Adjustable Wreath Hanger (Brushed Nickel) — Over The Door Wreath Hanger — Year-Round Indoor or Outdoor Wreath Hook — Holds up to 20lbs

> 3 dayI have an 8 foot foot and a heavy wreath. I purchased this adjustable hanger and it fits nicely over the door and extends the length that I need. Product adjusts up to 25 inches and states it can hold up to 20 pounds. It may hold the heavier weight if the extension is not used. But the longer the hanger is extended the the less weight it will bear. My 10 lbs wreath fell repeatedly. The metal is weak and bending it to loosen or tighten the lower assembly (as instructed) only works temporarily to tighten the extension. Opening and closing the door with a heavy wreath swinging on it a few times and the weak metal will bend right back loosening the connection on the upper assembly causing the lower assembly to come connected. Do not use this hanger for heavy wreaths using the extended length

> 3 dayI was excited when I took this out of the box. The wreath hook seemed sturdy, the color was as pictured, and the adjustment mechanism seemed to work well. I noticed two ridges on the top of the hook (more on those below) that seemed designed to keep the hanger from sliding back and forth on the door. When I put the hanger over the door and gently tried to close it, I felt some resistance, so I gave up on getting the door closed. When I pulled the door back, I saw that the two ridges on the top had left two ugly gouges in my top doorframe. Im not thrilled that Im going to have to patch and repaint my door frame. Returning this item and I do not recommend it unless, perhaps, you have a gap between your door and the top of the frame. Not sure how other reviewers didnt have this problem, but Im really disappointed in this product.

> 3 dayIt’s holds my wreath well. I wish there were plastic bumpers on it but without wind…it’s great. I will just add them myself if need be.

> 3 dayI used this to hang a wreath on the front door. The length adjusted and sits well on door frame.

> 3 dayIf your search for a good wreath hanger has been anything like mine, you have learned that most hangers are either too short, too long, too weak, or cause damage to your door. THIS HANGER IS THE ANSWER. 1) It is strong -- amazingly so, considering how thin it is. Our wreath is heavy, and the hanger doesnt even flinch. 2) Its length is adjustable over a wide range, so it works for doors of all heights. (Its easy to adjust, too.) 3) It has felt pads which prevent your door from being scratched (see the close-up photo). No more bare metal hangers leaving marks on our front door. 4) Its actually very nice looking. I bought the brushed nickel version and it is quite attractive. Not cheap looking at all. Your search for the perfect wreath hanger is over. Add this one to your card and youre all set.

> 3 dayPerfect solution to hanging a wreath on our front door. I like that it is adjustable in length and it has held up over a very cold and windy winter.

Greater than one weekThe color is so pretty! I didn’t feel like the way to keep it in position by bending it was a long term solution but it will do. The bar is also a bit thick so I really have to make sure we close the door so it latches and stays shut.

> 3 dayGood quality, as described. It was just too long for my door size. I thought it would have worked, but a larger door would be ideal for this.
