To adjust the length you press the inside slide down. There is no button so as youre pressing and pulling down the slide, your finger is SLICED against the side track rail! Horrible design! I have bandages on my finger from trying to adjust this. And the antique brass is more silver not gold as shown in the picture.

It fits well over an exterior apartment door. The brushed nickel makes for a nice look, as though it was intentional to show the hanger without it being a tacky black or white color. Though my door is a dark color, allowing it to blend in somewhat, I feel this would look well on any colored door, including wood. The door hanger keeps the height you set it to and it is easy to change if needed. Though the material feels like it will last a long time, I would purchase again if needed.

My order was lost in the mail and took over two weeks to arrive. The actual product is great. My only complaint is the back of the hanger has white lettering and markings. My door has an oval leaded glass; and this can be seen clearly from the inside of the house looking out. I am sure I can do something to cover this, but those of you with glass in your doors, be ready for this. Color is great.

I have had many wreath hangers over the years --- NONE have been even near the quality of this hanger. The price is so reasonable for the quality. You can choose the finish you need and it adjusts to your appropriate size.. It holds up to 20 lbs. mine isnt that heavy but I have a wreath with lights and batteries which makes it heavy, -- this hanger was just perfect for it. Dont hesitate in purchasing this hanger, never see any this quality.
