> 24 hourThis is great for placing your straightener or other hot tools without burning the surface beneath and having a designated place for the tools when traveling but they don’t really work when packing things up in a bind. The heat resistance isn’t good enough for that. It’s still hot enough to the touch that I wouldn’t just throw it in my bag in a rush. Because of that I’d say it’s good but not great. If you could find one that you could do that with it would be more worth the money because that’s what this is lacking that would make it perfect

> 24 hourThis mat is a pouch made of silicone and protects surfaces from any burning of my curling iron. Also Great to hold my hot curling iron in the pouch and take to travel. Excellent!!

> 24 hourDefinitely necessary if you use/travel with flat irons, or curling irons. At home or away, this is great for resting irons on the counter when being used, and to store in when not in use. I bought 2 at this price and use them daily.

> 24 hourThis pouch is big enough for my XL flat iron. It’s thick and sturdy, and works just as the description says. I rest the iron on it while using, and store it away in the pouch as soon as I’m finished. It’s heat resistant, compact and perfect for traveling and I have one for my curling iron as well.

> 24 hourI left my flat iron on 410 for 14 hours accidentally, so this probably saved my house and desk from burning!
