Greater than one weekNot sure I would feel comfortable unplugging, putting it in the silicone sleeve and putting it directly into my luggage. It still felt very hot to touch in the sleeve. I am happy with the main reason that I purchased it which was to protect my counter while I was doing my hair.

Greater than one weeki haven’t tested the heat resistance feature yet as not sure I’m keeping it -But it’s much smaller than anticipated and feels flimsy like it will come apart at the seams after first use . I don’t know how it will hold my flat iron with the cord and not rip or poke a hole from the cord - it doesn’t close either and is more like a very very slim sleeve that i feel is now over stuffed with just my flatiron in it, and could barley fit the cord inside too. Perhaps if i decide to keep it will prove to be more durable than expected ? I just can’t see how this would travel well. As per the heat resistance feature, most counter tops are heat resistant at this point so wasn’t a selling point for me. Just wanted a nice storage case for flatiron that was padded for protection with room for cord storage . as the hair iron i recently purchased was missing the storage case. I do love the hot pink color , but otherwise was very underwhelmed with this purchase.

> 3 dayThis is great for placing your straightener or other hot tools without burning the surface beneath and having a designated place for the tools when traveling but they don’t really work when packing things up in a bind. The heat resistance isn’t good enough for that. It’s still hot enough to the touch that I wouldn’t just throw it in my bag in a rush. Because of that I’d say it’s good but not great. If you could find one that you could do that with it would be more worth the money because that’s what this is lacking that would make it perfect
