We are able to hear even a heavy sigh and its easy for them to just speak out if they need anything without having to push a button...which can be confusing for her. It may be a baby monitor but it serves dual purposes. Also worked well in a rural area and the distance it reaches is great.

We then bought this one and regret not buying this one from day one. It has more features. It has good battery life. It has a clear picture. The only thing that I wish was better is the lullabies are loud even with the quietest setting. Overall, great monitor. Don’t waste money on another one. Get this.

> 24 hourThe camera portion is NOT battery powered. The monitor screen can be operated on battery power. In other words, you need access to electricity to make the camera portion work. Misleading for sure.
