Ive never tried a PEI spring steel bed before. I usually use glass. This PEI sheet adheres and was as level as any of the glass beds I have used before but with the very cool added benefit of being able to flex the build plate to make my print just POP off the bed. Very cool, and very fun.

This was one of the best upgrades I have made to my printer thus far. I have yet to have any issues with adhesion and the textured side leaves a really nice surface on the side of the print touching the build plate.

I eventually was able to print well on this sheet. The trick for me was to change how I was doing leveling. You really need to stick that nozzle right into the bed, leaving little to no gap. You could do the paper test if you want, but Ive found doing it by feel and eyeball to be better. The reason for this tighter tolerance is that your usual leveling will be against the tops of the rough surface. What you really need is for that plastic to flow into the valleys of that rough surface. So, dont hesitate to leave less gap between the nozzle and bed than you normally do. Youll know you got it right when the back of your print has tiny pits from the texture. The obnoxious branding falls right off as soon as you remove the tape on top of the letters. I see this as a win. I thought it was some packing tape so when I pulled it off, the letters came with. Cool, thats better anyway. The only downside I see of this build plate is that the magnetic feature is not very strong at all. Not nearly as strong as the one that came with my printer. Not helping things is the protective sheet covering the adhesive on the bottom. I cant remove it or Ill have that glue all over the printer, defeating the whole point of buying a magnetic sheet in the first place. I dont know why they included this adhesive on a magnetic sheet.

Love this plate. It works like a charm. Havent had any problems with filimint sticking and it doesnt slip. Very strong magnet under it to keep it in place. Definitely recommend 100%.

I thought the other reviews were exaggerating. I havent tried it with PETG yet, but with PLA it sticks incredibly. Once its cooled down, it requires almost no effort to remove the print. You touch it and it just slides right off. Amazing game changer. This is one of the best upgrades I ever made, only second to maybe the upgraded springs I added.

As you can see per the pictures the label shows it as 310x310 for CR-10 but looking at picture of it sitting on top of a plate that is actually 310x310 it is clearly around 220x220. The quality seemed great but that means nothing if they cant get me the correct size I ordered. This is third item this week where I received the wrong item. You need to do better.

Great product. Glad I switched my Ender bed from glass to this. Been using it 6 months. No cleaning

The first few prints were great. They were larger items printed with PLA filament, and the adhesion was pretty good and they released just fine. After about 10 prints however, the build plate lost all its adhesion properties and now nothing sticks. Ive tried PLA and PETG filament. Ive tried adjusting the bed temp from 20 degrees to 70 degrees with stops at 5 degree increments. Ive printed with hotter filament temps and then tried on the lower side of the filament temperature range. The filament flows, then starts to glob around the nozzle because its not sticking to the print surface. When I switch back to my glass bed I can print just fine with the proper filament nozzle and bed temps. I even tried replacing my nozzle thinking it might be a nozzle clogging issue. But no, its entirely a problem with the print bed.

Love the texture of this plate. Leaves the bottom of the 3D prints nice and smooth. The 3D prints come off easily. Just be careful lining up the plate to the magnet. Once you stick it...you cant take it off. My alignment was a little off so I just cut off the access magnet with an X-Acto knife. A great upgrade to the flimsy plate the ender 3D printer comes with.
