> 3 dayAs you can see per the pictures the label shows it as 310x310 for CR-10 but looking at picture of it sitting on top of a plate that is actually 310x310 it is clearly around 220x220. The quality seemed great but that means nothing if they cant get me the correct size I ordered. This is third item this week where I received the wrong item. You need to do better.

> 3 dayUpdate 2-7-2022 On 2-6-2022 The company wrote back saying that the pictures I submitted does not help troubleshoot the problem, the pictures here are the same I sent them, you can clearly see the PEI flakes stuck in the print, it is obvious the PEI is flaking off from being stuck to the prints as it releases, and they do not come off. On 2-7-2022 they wrote back asking me if I had checked bed level or adjusted the nozzle? You can clearly see in the pictures that the print itself is perfect, no scraping the bed from too small of a gap and no line separation or deformities from the bed level leaving too large of a gap. I own a business; we have 6 printers, and we are not new to them. Three printers have a different brand of textured PEI plates and they do not do this. Update 2-2-2022 I have been back and forth in contact with the seller asking them if they would please exchange the two plates that were only a few days out of the Amazon 30 day return window and I have received nothing but excuses, on 1/30/2022 they replied they would give an answer the following day and they did not so I wrote them again at the end of the day on 1-31-2022 and they replied wanting video of the issue and wanted me to send it to an email outside of Amazons message system which is against Amazon rules for the seller. I wrote them back and told them I would not reply to any outside communication from Amazon and I attached several pictures of the issue. 2/1/2022 They wrote back and said they sent the pictures to their engineer and would give me an answer later, I wrote them back asking if they realized I am a business, and that the situation has my printers tied up and losing money? 2/2/2022 they write back saying (but we are in spring holiday now, we will wait for the engineer, please understand) Needless to say they do not care and are giving every excuse they can, not a way to do proper business. At this point I will order different brand PEI plates and call it a loss. If you have issues with their products you now know what to expect. UPDATE 1-28-2022 At first I could not praise these bed plates enough but now after some time I just noticed that the PEI on the rough sides in flaking off and getting into my prints, I have their brand on three of my 6 printers and unfortunately did not notice the issue until I had 18 prints printed in black with the issue. Again did not notice at first because the light has to hit it right to see it so I am 18 prints deep at 11 hours per two prints at a time that I cannot use nor sell. Thats 99 hours of print time and two spools of filament at 25 bucks each. This REALLY puts my company behind on sales and cost us a lot of money. These are lids for machine die organizers we sell for 19.99 each and are one of our best sellers so were out basically 360.00 due to a faulty product. Now compound that by how long it takes to remedy the issue and another 99 hours of print time...not a good situation. At this time I can no longer condone telling people this is a good product. See my pictures and you will see they were absolutely great at first, then you will see the picture of the product stacked up with the PEI flakes embedded in them. These print top side down so it shows horribly on the tops when the light hits just right and are not usable. *Origional Feedback before issues: I cannot say enough good about these PEI plates, the textured finish leaves a great effect on my prints that we sell as a company. One of our tool & Die holders we print the lid upside down, so we get the texture in the top of the lid and it looks fantastic. The plates let PLA stick extremely well with the bed at 60 degrees C and as they cool right around the 36 degree C range I can be across the work area and hear my parts actually release. Our plates have hundreds of prints on them now with zero issues, every 10 prints we pull them off and wash them with Dawn dish detergent and hot water then dry them with a towel...do not use a microfiber cloth as they leave a residue and do not use alcohol...Dawn and hot water is all that is needed and it removes any residue. Watch the video with sound up, right about the 24-25 second mark you will clearly hear the parts release from the plate once it has cooled to 36 degrees C ...love it!

Greater than one weekThe first few prints were great. They were larger items printed with PLA filament, and the adhesion was pretty good and they released just fine. After about 10 prints however, the build plate lost all its adhesion properties and now nothing sticks. Ive tried PLA and PETG filament. Ive tried adjusting the bed temp from 20 degrees to 70 degrees with stops at 5 degree increments. Ive printed with hotter filament temps and then tried on the lower side of the filament temperature range. The filament flows, then starts to glob around the nozzle because its not sticking to the print surface. When I switch back to my glass bed I can print just fine with the proper filament nozzle and bed temps. I even tried replacing my nozzle thinking it might be a nozzle clogging issue. But no, its entirely a problem with the print bed.

17-11-2024Failed prints because the magnet underneath has poor connection, which causes shifts in the plate, leading to spaghetti-ville. Last night was the straw that broke the camels back. The entire plate, print and all, was pushed off the printer. Getting a magnetic plate was to avoid using clips. Beware.

> 3 daythe TL;DR on the HICTOP flexible build plate is that it is a good plate and is above average for quality. strong points: good magnetic adhesion at high temperatures & good adhesion and easy part removal even after significant use. longer read: I got this as an upgrade to a creality printer that came stock with a carborundum glass bed. hint for those upgrading a cr10 v2 / v3 .. just remove the front clips and leave the back ones to help easily align the build plate each time yu put it back on. id give the same advice for any printer that works similarly. This build plate has 2 things going for it that are better than most. 1. the magnetic sheet is good to 130c. This contrasts with most giving up their magnetism before they hit 100c. BE CARFUL if you are looking at other build plate / magnetic sheet combinations. make sure there able to work well at 110c without damage to the magnetic material. 2. The pei coating is very good and seems to hold up well to higher bed temperatures and a lot of use. i regularly print at 100/110c on the build plate without issue. Ive used the sheet works well with abs, petg, and with pla (at 60c). gives good adhesion when heated and easy release when cooled. Things to note on this build plate, ... whatever process they use to coat the service leaves a little loose/rough pei flakes on the surface that tends to come off on your first few prints, this seems not to be an issue and noticed no degradation of adhesion after the flakes came off... if you have ever spray painted primer, and felt it before you sanded it, its a bit like that. the other thing is mine is single-sided. id love for it to have been double-sided. the quality of the one said is good so, i am happy with that for the price. the magnetic sheet they supply is very good and strong even at high temps. id have no need to swap it out if I were to also get other magnetic build sheets of other materials. I dont expect any build surface to last forever but i do expect them to last a while. id defiantly buy this again when that time comes to retire it.

> 3 dayGot this bed primarily for bed adhesion and it does the job perfectly but what I didnt expect to like also is that it makes it so easy to remove the prints and it actually evened out the uneven areas on my bed. Goodbye glue sticks and uneven prints.

> 3 dayWorks great after being lightly scrubbed with steel wool and cleaned with soapy water. Highly recommended all further cleanings to be with soapy water, dont bother with alcohol or acetone as nothing will stick well to the plate afterwards. Magnet is high quality and holds very firmly. Was easy to trim for my Voron 2.4 300mm build plate.
