> 24 hourI like the metal center piece....the plastic ones pull loose. Have to see how this holds up!

> 24 hourPretty good product. It is worth it to have this when installing ceiling lights. The plastic is flexible. It did me a while to figure it out how to use it with a bigger hole drill.

> 24 hourI needed one of these for a job I was doing. I researched and chose this one because it had a metal washer as opposed to the plastic one that many others had and the cone was clear so you could see your bit placement . While reading the reviews I had seen several which stated they had received a used product, I ordered anyway and after a few days received a used product? What the heck? The plastic is cloudy, with scratches and smudges on it making it hard to see through and precisely place the bit in the correct location. Buyer beware the reviews claiming they received a used product are true, as can be seen in my photos.

> 24 hourI tried a few similar items. This one is durable because it has a steel washer inserted into the bowl hole. the one i got with my bit at lowes was completely horrible, it did not really work at all. One tore apart at the hole. This one fits flush against the ceiling making a nice seal. I think people still need to be careful if they want to mitigate the dust. For example, you have to be prepared to do something with the drywall/dust/insulation particles that fills the bowl. I drilled the hole, carefully came down the ladder, unplugged the drill, and brought it outside! Then I dumped out the bowl, and drilled the next hole... :)

> 24 hourItem worked great to install my recessed lights, no more drywall dust flying everywhere. Used it to install 8 recessed lights but by the 4th or 5th one it started buckling with very little pressure. Would recommend for quick project not for prolonged use on big projects.

> 24 hourSo Im not sure whats going on with Amazon but these seem like theyre used, the plastic is real roughed up and the label / sticker has gotten wet like it was washed. Really frustrating, I sent the first one back and got another and its the same. As far as quality it seems well made, the metal collar will stand up way better than the other brand with the red plastic collar. I want to give it 5 stars but cant due to it being the second used one Amazon sent me.

> 24 hourEasy to put on drill and allow me to cut 4 holes in the ceiling without dirtying the floor with drywall. More transparent would be better, to see where you are drilling, but it works fine.
