> 24 hourBlocked the sun very well. I have a sun allergy and this was excellent to nap under and walk around with. I used it for a week long camping trip and was constantly opening and closing it. The structure is sound, but the ball handle at the end fell off the first day. The actual umbrella structure was very sturdy and i recieved compliments on its beauty everyday. Would purchase again.

> 24 hourThe handle part came off during first use, I repaired. The umbrella is actually kind of hard to open and close, which kind of surprised me- I didnt know that umbrellas could be difficult to operate. It is so super freaking cute though and it does help to block the sun so I have made peace with the umbrella and try to be careful with it.

> 24 hourI really like this umbrella. It is super cute and protects me from the harsh desert sun. It is cuter than I expected it to be and it is small enough to fit comfortably in medium (or larger sized) bag. The carrying case it comes with is a bit much, but it helps keep it under wraps when in a bag or backpack.

> 24 hourOn a functionality basis, this is perfect. I get light-sensitive migraines and sometimes blocking the sun from my eyes for even ten feet between car and building is very important. It is deep enough to help much more than traditional umbrellas, which Ive used as better than a hand or nothing at all. Four stars instead of five because its not as easy to fold up and put away as it should be. This is my second UV blocking parasol; the other looks very similar and unfolds the same way(if a bit more smoothly), but it folds back up, too. This one I have to flip upside-down to manually fold, and the containing strap is placed badly so it ends up too near the handle if I dont very deliberately adjust that particular fold. All of which has left this tossed in a crumpled heap more often than not as Id likely break it when in migraine-induced short-temperedness. As a backup parasol, its fine. If I hadnt bought it as a backup Id probably be looking around for a different one that isnt so annoying to get closed at a time when Im really not up for fussiness.

> 24 hourThis umbrella has been open in my room because it will not close easily. Its seems fragile. When I opened it I felt like it would break. It didnt but I felt like it would cause of how weak the pedlum holders were. It is known that many umbrellas have these buttons that makes the umbrella simply open or close. This one does not have it and must be open and closed manually. A nerve wrecking experience due to the fragility of this umbrella. On a purely aesthetical note, I do not like the black underneath the white umbrella, the black handle or the small black dot on the tip top and center of the umbrella. It taints the subtle dainty look of it. I understand the backside is for protection from UV rays but surely there was a a way to make the handle white and remove the black on the tip. With our technology even the backside should be able to be made white or at least more muted and pale. What pleases me about this darling is the lace, the pretty dangling beads at the bottom and the color. The purse that carries this tool is a wonderful idea but the actual purse is a bit rugged with a much too obvious black inside. Thank you for reading my review, Jesus loves you.♡

> 24 hourThis is a nice umbrella/parasol combo with a few really obnoxious problems. Its very good at doing its job, and looks way cuter in real life than in the pictures, with an neat little dotty internal pattern and blank space thats both smaller and less-ugly (even pretty!) than it looks here. Unfortunately, its kind of awkward to use, and it wont last a long time unless youre very careful with it. Definitely dont be afraid to glue the legs/spars of the umbrella back in their holes - just one *small* dab of gorilla glue on the hole before you put the leg back in is plenty for it to hold for a much longer time. Dont expect it to close down as small as it is when you first get it, and it takes a good bit of time to tie is closed without twisting the legs all around. That said, its still really good at blocking both rain and sun, and the material is quite thick and opaque. Its a good value if you carry a bigger purse or bag and are willing to be very careful and spend some extra time on it, but be sure youre aware of its disadvantages before you order. Pros: Wonderful at blocking both rain and sun Really cute - the pictures dont really do it justice The lace is durable, but still looks delicate Cute little charm beads hanging from the handle Pretty decent quality for the price Cons: The spars dont stay in their holes very well - I had to superglue some of mine back in The different sections of the telescoping handle rod get stuck or come loose pretty easily - expect it to take some pretty serious structural damage if youre rough with it or a kid messes with it or something. Really hard to close all the way without damaging it It tries to be purse-sized, but its a little too bulky Doesnt really fit into its carrying case very well Coverage is a little small - if you have long legs, dont expect this to keep them dry in a big rainstorm, especially if theres wind The handle is kind of awkward to hold, especially if you have bigger hands.

> 24 hourThe only reason i dont give 5 is its a 3fold instead of 2 fold style so its a little hard to get put away ans folded up properly.

> 24 hourPerfect for my mother. Shes from Louisiana and is used to carrying something to keep the sun from damaging her skin. Light weight and cute.

> 24 hourArrived in time and its cute, but it got here broken. Otherwise it looks exactly like whats pictured and it folds up like a really small umbrella so its super convenient. And it comes with an adorable little handbag to carry it in.
