> 3 dayI do not like the sun and this is way better than an umbrella for blocking the sun. Mine came with a little storage pouch with a lace handle too. It is kind of hard to stuff the parasol back into the pouch but whatever. I love this parasol and use it whenever I can. The picture shows how much sunlight shines through: not much!

> 3 dayI don’t know why but my umbrella doesn’t seem to look like it’s open to the fullest it goes it looks like 97/100 opened like if I pulled it up a bit it looks perfect but since the umbrella point isn’t there it goes back down a little it’s perfect but that was an issue for me but it works for sun protection :)! UPDATE : I found out there was a upper metal piece to keep the umbrella 100% up and it works perfectly for rain. A very beautiful umbrella :) !!!

> 3 dayYou want a sun proof umbrella this is it. You want a water proof umbrella this is it. You want to look like you walked right out of a gothic catalog this umbrella is your man. Fan of anime and want to look super Kawii? This umbrella no joke. I can’t begin to say how many complements I have gotten with it. I bought it when it was still raining locally and this umbrella took the storm and did so in style. Now that It is hot as all hell outside this umbrella is still rock able. The little lace detail gives it such a unique look to it. I enjoy the versatility of this umbrella but I also secretly love the hand bag it came in. All of the umbrellas I have owned in the past just had a Velcro wrap that would hold the umbrella in place when it wasn’t being used. (this on also has that feature) but this umbrella went a step forward and gave me a cute little waterproof bag to keep it in that has lace to match the umbrella itself. Over all I love this umbrella and would recommend though I will give the warning of this is a black umbrella so if you’re getting it to hide from the heat be aware black + sun = hot even in shade.

> 3 dayThis is made more like a costume prop or a toy than an actual UV protectant umbrella. It is also very small so more of a child size. This is more like a $5-$10 item and $10 is pushing it. I have lupus and purchased for sun protection but this is not wide enough to shade the length of my 57 138lb body. It was difficult to open, kept catching on itself and just felt like cheap plastic that was about to break apart. It is pretty though, just not functional for what I expected based upon the description.

Greater than one weekI worry that I might break it sometimes. It’s cute while in use, but too much of a pain to open and close.

> 3 dayHard to open and close. Not what I was looking for but my granddaughter likes to twirl it.

> 3 dayI bought this for a photoshoot and for what it’s worth it was a good prop. It held up a lot longer than I thought it would to pyrotechnics so that’s a plus. It’s a lot smaller than what the pictures make you believe. It did feel somewhat flimsy as well and the closing mechanism was kinda wack.

> 3 dayIt was a little stiff fresh out of the package - I had to really push it to get it to stay open. I have arthritis in my hands and it was somewhat difficult to manipulate. Also it has lots of fussy little tines and one of them popped out the first time I opened it. That said, for $22, its pretty good!

> 3 dayI bought the black one and it looked the same as pictured. The seller included a message card and a small gift in the package. The parasol is light and blocks the sunlight efficiently, with the size large enough for one person. It came in a little lace bag, which I think is cute but trivial. The pattern inside the parasol is pretty but not aligned. There are also some loose threads.

Greater than one weekEverything was fine with it I would have given it 5 stars but the top part broke in half, it still opens and closes nothing wrong just the top part in half
