The price was about half what the alarm company was going charge me.

The female voice that describes the various devices that have been tripped is awful...essentially unintelligible if theres the least bit of ambient sound in the room. The quality of the audio is extremely poor- kind of like a cheap shortwave radio. This aspect of the keypad is worthless.

The system is much quieter and discreet than the previous model. Key pad is easy to use.

Exactly I needed

If youre a do it yourself person then this is an easy panel to install. I have a 6150 as well but you cant program the alarm system with it so I picked up the 6160 and installed it in our bedroom. Being an alpha display also help locate faults becasue the zones are listed in words.

As expected. Met all expectations.

Grandson love it.

This really made programming the unit and having zone names much easier.
