Replacement pads

My Alpha Display isnt showing anything. Anyone else having this issue?

Works great! Cannot comment on installation as we hired a handyman to do it! :) Very please with the look. Also like the fact that the chime is louder than the original that came with the house. I now can hear when one of my kids open the doors. Very helpful for security reasons. Also like the large display and the size of the keypad.

The 6160 is the only keypad I want on my system I have 2 on mine youre going to need it if you want to program the system and be able to see what youre doing all around great deal and they work best on any vista panel

Replaced a 6150 with this 6160. Never buy a 6150. Without the alpha display, it is almost impossible to program, because if you are trying different settings to figure out what works, you are never sure you entered it correctly. I was trying to program for my 4-wire smoke detectors, finally got it to work using a combination of *56, *79, and *80 commands, but only with the 6160. My alarm system is an older version of the Vista 20P, but it would be good if they built them with on-board WIFI included (kidda like printers come now) and a nice desktop or even phone app for programming. Entering codes and settings takes me back 30 years when programming assembly language commands.

Works as expected. Arrived in new condition, packed well, delivered as expected.

One of my old keypads display backlight was failing and that gave me motivation to switch both out. The keys and displays are perfectly sized to be read and used without glasses and the alpha display shows so much more information. I programmed names to the zones etc. (I know - programming a Vista System required an IT degree but thats not the point of the review) and this make it much easier for everyone in my household. The newer buzzer sound very pleasant compared to the old style beep and the programmable one touch keys are great! Excellent device!
