> 3 dayI’ve had this book light for a year and let me tell you it’s the only book light I will ever use. I have ASD and light really bothers me if it’s too bright so the ability to have a warm light that doesn’t hurt my eyes is a life saver. I would always strain my eyes with a normal white light and then I couldn’t read for a few days but I’ve never strained my eyes using this book light. The battery life is great. I can use it for a few hours every night for about 2-3 days before I need to recharge it. And I usually use it on the brightest setting or the middle one. I do make sure not to over charge it to keep the battery in it’s best condition so take that as you will. It lights up a very large space. I can light up a large fantasy novel with it with no issues. It definitely will light up both pages of any average to large book. Honestly if you’re in the market for a new book light this is the one. It’s so worth the money.

> 3 dayI am using it to light up my keyboard at night. It has a very good low light which is not too bright and nice to the eyes. It has four different modes which you can switch between by clicking a hidden swithc on the back of its head: off, on(intensity#1[lowest]), on(intensity#2), on(intensity#3[highest])... and then back to off. It is easliy adjustable by bending its neck. I can use the clip to attach it to my laptop, since its pressure is not too strong to break it. The only down side I can found are: (1) the neck may be too short for you (for me it is OK). (2) the clip could be a bit smaller in size than it is. Overall I am very happy with it, hence the 5 stars grade.

> 3 dayI bought this about a month or two ago and cant stand it. The thing does not turn on or off by any normal way and it sometimes takes 3 minutes to get it to brighten or shut off... and then it turns on when it feels like it often waking me up hours later. Also this is way too bright to help with any type of sleep angle. It needs to be redesigned with a proper switch to turn on/off and also a three way setting added with the lowest giving off about half of the light that the lower of the two settings currently offered is. The only few good things about this light is that it plugs in like your phone does (using the same charger) and then holds a charge for a long time, which is good for those who read 6-8 hours nightly like myself. Also, it is lightweight enough that I have thrown it in the cigarette pocket of my t-shirt when reading a magazine which is too flimsy to hook the large alligator style plastic clip to (also even though its relatively light it is nevertheless still way too heavy to clip onto a magazine). Overall I would never ever suggest this product until those changes are made... at least the power/brightness issue as nothing is so frustrating and contrary to staying restful than when your blood pressure skyrockets because the thing refuses to shut off when youre finally tired enough to want to go to sleep. If I wouldnt have woken the wife up by doing so I would have thrown the thing against the wall numerous nights when that happened.. not to mention how happy I get when I am woken up hours later when it decides to turn itself on without being touched. Also... seeing that this has this problem I would NEVER think about leaving this thing plugged in to charge without a direct eye on it at all times as I could easily see this piece of garbage end up somehow in flames as there is already obvious electrical problems with the design. How Amazon still sells this is beyond me. Reminds me of the tons of cheap Made in Hong Kong garbage items that used to flood the market back in the 70s and early 80s. Stay away from this one.

22-11-2024Well-designed, good brightness levels, peaceful reading light. Doesn’t disturb my husband who tries to sleep while I read. Clip is good quality. I will buy more as gifts! (Glad to support a Wisconsin company, too.)
