From a functional standpoint, the tape stays straight and stiff for at least three feet, so you dont have to worry about holding the end or hooking it on to the object youre measuring. The numbers are very easy to read, both in English and metric. The locking mechanism works easily and holds securely. And it rewinds quickly.
