I bought a set of “compatible” toner cartridges. after the 30 day return period had expired my printer ran out of yellow so I put that in first. The results were so bad I went to the local office supply store the same day and bought genuine HP toner to rescue my printer. Again, when the cyan toner ran out, I tried the “compatible” cartridge. Again, the results were really spotty blue colors on my printing. Plus I have leaked cyan toner in my cartridge tray! The HP toner is super reliable AND the package includes a return shipping label so that you can recycle the cartridge back to HP! Excellent!!!

Hated to spend the $ on HP rather than a compatible. But I was afraid based on reviews that non-HP toners had serious potential to fail. Not because they were inferior but because HP could prevent them from working with an update.

I had to order one color replacement, or the print will only be black. It took the purchase of all 4 cartages to reinstall the color. This was done in December 2017. It is now Feb. and it tells me to replace the magenta, and the print is only black. What is the shelf life for cartridges??

I really like these genuine HP products. These are easy to install and the packing material protects the new cartridge very well. I like the ease of changing the cartridge and no smearing and it just works as it should. I have confidence that it will not damage my printer. I showed my wife how to change the cartridge she was surprised on how easy it was change the toner.
