> 24 hourThe other reviews are right that report the product arrives in a cheap plastic case (or OEM packaging) instead of the box as pictured on the product page. I have added an image to the customer images to illustrate what mine looked like when I took it out of the Amazon box. No HP factory box or anything! My printer ran out of ink a few weeks ago. I ordered the Cyan and Yellows to replace empty cartridges. The magenta seemed to run out immediately thereafter, too. The catch with my printer is the darn thing wont print even a single page in black & white or grayscale if a single color cartridge is empty. The other two cartridges came quickly and in the factory boxes so I decided to take a risk on this color after seeing conflicting reviews. Like usual, Amazon customers are quite honest and dont have hidden agendas here---I received an ink cartridge in a cheap plastic container. The other two cartridges were made in Ireland while this one was made in China. I dont mind where its made as long as it works (I prefer cheaper prices if I get the same quality of product!). The factory original cartridges were from China and they seemed to last quite a while. All 3 of my new cartridges (the 2 from Ireland and this 1 from China) have passed the genuine cartridge test. I hope it is not easy to fool. For now, I need to print and dont have an option but to install the ink so I can get some work done. Fingers crossed I dont get hosed on the purchase. It is certainly a bit misleading to put the factory packaging on the product page if its not being shipped like that. I dont mind buying OEM IF I KNOW IT IS OEM. When I think Im buying new, I dont like to receive OEM. I dont do much color printing but if the ink runs out too quickly, I will be sure to repost and downgrade my review further. In the meantime, fingers crossed! UPDATE 1 MONTH LATER: I can print! The packaging looked shady but the ink cartridge worked and still works a month later.

> 24 hourAll I can say is that I have simply never had a problem with genuine HP ink. No damaged cartridges. No leaks. No streaks. No drying out. Ive been tempted to try the off brands to save money, but from what I can tell, its a crap shoot as to whether youll get a high quality cartridge, with high quality ink, that wont give you problems at some point. Id rather stick with what has always worked reliably for me. The XL cartridges do last a long time too. . I have 3 HP printers in my home network (one for each floor so were not having to run upstairs or downstairs to print), and I keep a stash of ink cartridges so I never run out. Works for me.

> 24 hourYup - its ink. Expensive but it works. If it were cheaper I would have given it 5 stars. I suppose HP has to make its money somehow though since they basically give their printers away.
