> 3 daySo great I bought a second monitor. Screen quality and color are absolutely beautiful. Speakers could use some help but overall, I’m happy.

> 3 dayMy sons 2nd monitor went out on his gaming computer. Since it’s his second he wasn’t worried about refresh rates just wanted if for Discord etc…. It came with the HDMI cable and the speaker cable but no Display Port cable. Lucky I work on IT and had one but the box was supposed to come with it

> 3 dayThis is a decent, reasonably priced desktop PC monitor. I only give it 4 stars because I personally prefer a much smaller monitor. I really like that is has speakers built in. My PC was a refurbished one that did not cooperate with separate plug-in speakers and I did try several models of stand alone speakers. I finally have sound! The only caveat is that Vudu movies are still almost impossible to hear through these speakers. Again, a personal preference. Vudu movies seem to be no longer compatible with any device. I can hear YouTube videos with no trouble. Further, I really like that the stand doesnt take up much room and I can store my Funko Pop figures, lotions, and dog treats under the monitor.

> 3 dayMonitor looks good but I can’t hook it up until I now try to find a display port cable, that was listed as included in the box. Ugh.

> 3 dayUPDATE: I have purchased four of these units for the office. I am now being told by AMZ that I can not purchase any more due to imposed limits. I have been waiting months (15 days plus two years) to be able to update our office with replacement monitors. Now that staff is coming back to work I have hit another roadblock. Now I have to find another model/brand. Good thing I didnt promise more 27 units to others. Very Disappointed. Original review: We have been purchasing the HP 24mh monitors as replacements around the office, and I came across these HP M27ha models which are essentially just a 27 versions for the same price. The only downfall for both models is the lack of extra USB ports like you find on higher end units, but we can work around that. My folks are please with the extra real estate.

> 3 dayThe monitor was fine for about three months, after that the screen started going black, and needed to be turned off, and on to get the image back. After a while, the monitor screen went black, with no signal, and no power. Contacted HP customer service, someplace in India, and spent over two hours with the representative who told me to change cables, reset the monitor, connect to a different computer, and some more basic stuff. I keep telling him that the problem was that the monitor didnt work period. The rep keep telling me that there was nothing he could do about the questioning because he had to follow protocol. After two hours of brainless suggestions, and some hard words on my part, he agreed to open a warranty claim. This was a stressful exercise in futility for no reason at all. This personal experience with HP customer service was frustrating, and one of the worse that I had experienced with other companies customer service, and I have had dealings with Comcast and AT&T which are pretty bad.

> 3 dayNot sure how the product works because it didnt come with a display port. Without it, the monitor is useless. Now I have to go out and buy a display port somewhere fast! So inconvenient.

17-11-2024I am not a heavy monitor user. In fact, I have two home computers and this monitor failed at ten months with light use, on average less than half an hour per day. The backlights went out with the exception of one group at the bottom of the screen. I have a warranty replacement coming but only after over an hour of wasteful troubleshooting with an offshore agent over logmein. And the warranty isnt fun- you have to wait for a shipping box, then you send it back and go WITHOUT A MONITOR until they determine what you sent really is broken and decide if they will send you a replacement. Not impressed. I wouldnt buy this again. Update: Mindy Pollard posted an earlier review with pictures; they show the identical problem to what I experienced. The replacement monitor finally arrived- I went two weeks without a monitor thanks to this issue. I dont perceive this model to be reliable, which is disappointing. I used HP monitors at work for years with zero issues.

> 3 dayI pulled this out of the box and set it up. I found the packaging to be cheaply done. Also the basic setup and layout was not good. The connections are on the bottom and not the back and after getting the base on I had to find a flat place to lay it down to see where my connections were. THEN, I could find the power switch. Turns our there is a round button on the back that LOOKed like power but is actually the settings button. I did not feel the button on the bottom right where I expected it to be. It was there but I missed it. So, in short I spent 15 minutes getting angry that it wouldnt turn on. The instructions are a joke (as is expected these days). But there was not a word of English anywhere. And the graphic / image instructions say nothing about the power button or the brighness, contrast (settings) button on the back. Well, its on now and look good. But the ramp up which should have been an easy 5 minutes was much longer.
