HP PhotoSmart 325 Compact Photo Printer

I needed a photo printer that produced excellent pictures, was easy to use, and had a small footprint. The HP 325 Photosmart filled all of my needs. The photo quality is excellent and it takes up very little space. My wife isnt exactly a techie, so I wanted a photo printer that was very easy to use. All she has to do is plug in her CF card, choose a picture, and hit print. No need for the computer. I can use Photoshop to adjust my pictures and then easily print photo quality 4x6s. Highly recommended. The only drawback is the small screen size. You can pay $50 more for the next model up for a larger screen and a few more on-printer options though.

Came with no power supply which was not advised in product description, instead rated as like new when it isnt. So have no idea if it works. Not happy [yet]

I got this printer in December but then in January IT STOPPED WORKING! I was bummed because I was so happy with it. I tried to get it to work everyday for about a week or two then I gave up. Now in April I decided to get another one, but before I did I wanted to see if it would work one last time and guess what?! It came to life!!!! It healed itself!!! I have no idea how?! I am so happy with it!!!!!!! Its the best thing ever!!!! NO NEED FOR THE COMPUTER!!!! But if you want to edit the pictures so they come out looking great then it comes with a stellar program!!! I JUST LOVE IT!!!!

We have one of these at my workplace. It was too slow (1 min per pic) and we needed a faster one. We have gone thru 2 expensive printer and we are back to using this one. Why? the other printers, if not used often will get clogged printhead. cleaning the printhead did not help, needed to buy new printheads. This little printer sat under my desk when they retired it for over a year. Turned it on one day, when our expensive printer would not work, and it printed beautiful pictures. I was sure it would not work, the printheads would be clogged, but it is the most dependable printer I have seen. So I bought myself one for home. Kind of expensive so I went searching on Amazon and found a brand new one for 55.00. So if you are looking for a quality photo printer, HP Photosmart is the best buy.

Printer would only print in monochrome colors; the whole print would be all magenta, cyan, yellow, etc. Put in a brand new cartridge with the same results. Seller needs to test the printers before shipping to verify they work as described.

i didnt open this product right away, working way to much when i did open it i was very excited when i put my camer chip into the photo printer nothing but blue screen. i could not print or view my photos. is my chip compatible with the device YES!! i have the exact model but i had it a long time and will not print, but it does show the photos.thats why i purchased this one because its the perfect size. yes i know the printer was used but in the discription it said only used a few times just like new. well they lied. can i get a refund hell no its past 30 days.

Great little printer that doesnt require a computer and does what its designed to do!!!

I got an hp325 for Christmas. I took pictures of the family opening presents with my Canon A70 and printed them out before breakfast. Quality is great. Took camera and printer to a meeting, took pictures and printed them. Everybody was amazed at the quality and very idea that I could print pictures right at the table. Havent tried installing in computer. Why bother? I can download from card to computer with card reader. Love the portability. Getting our son one for his birthday.

Printer has proven to be EXCELLENT as far as I have used it. Won it in a contest, so Im not complaining. ;) I have printed out some pictures and find the quality to be EXCELLENT. The speed of printing is also fast and the printer prints BORDERLESS photos (which is a handy feature). As with any product there are a few cons. 1) Printer is a PHOTO printer. That means you wont be printing out an 8X10s; you can only print 4X6 photos (but Im expecting you know this already..) 2)Cable to hook to PC is *not* included. If you want to transfer pictures from your computer, dont expect to get a cable with your printer. The cable is sold separately. However, a flash/USB drive will work perfectly.. Just plug the USB drive into your computer, stick the pictures on it, then plug the USB drive into your printer. --------- The printer can recognize MANY different formats, SD cards, USB input devices (photo iPod, flash drive, etc..) Which is very convenient. It can also view the pictures straight from your camera (make sure its compatible, most are..) If youre looking to just print photos and want a light-weight and portable printer, this is the item for you!

The bundled install disk was corrupted. There was not a single scratch on the disk but my computer, and a few friends, could not read the disk. HP said to just download and install the drivers off their website. This does not work either. After downloading and running the most up to date drivers I get an error every time saying at least one file could not be found. The software then rolls back and forces me to restart. There is no restart later or cancel buttons after or during the installation. I just have to wait till it screws up (or end the process in the task manager). Windows cannot install the printer either, its just error after error. Ive tried everything including manually installing the drivers that were unpacked by the drivers off the website and its still missing files. I cant even review the products actual use because I cant get the damn thing to work. Ive even paid someone to come over and try to install it but they run into the same problems. HPs software is horrible and their support hasnt helped me at all.
