HP Z620 Workstation 2X Intel Xeon E5-2670 2.6GHz 16-Cores Total 96GB RAM No Hard Drive NVIDIA Quadro 600 No OS (Renewed)

I bought this after my i7 2600 proxmox server had reached its limit. Spend 200$ upgrading the ram or upgrade to this with 96 Gigs of ram for 400$

Package came in well packed. Installed win10, stuck on MBR convert

I am happy with this machine. I installed Ubuntu Server 18.04 and kvm/libvirt on it and am running a bunch of virtual machines on it. I dont really intend to use it as a desktop, but I might when my current desktop dies (HP wx6600, another beast from long ago...) Its probably about 20 times faster than my wx6600 on the same workload, so its nice for software development.

False advertising. PC stated that it had a Nvidia video card, part of the reason I purchased this model. You can see from attached picture that the PC had substandard ATI card instead.

Received the computer a week ago and Im very happy with the purchase. It arrived very well packaged and as described with dual Xeon processors, 96GB RAM, and NVIDIA Quadro 600. (No hard drive) Very clean inside with only a few scuff marks on the outside. Ive had no problems running Ubuntu 18.04 while also running Windows 10 in a virtual machine. Android emulator runs so much better on this computer compared to my old Intel i7 with 16GB RAM.

Huge upgrade from what I was using. This computer is fast. It came fully installed with 96gb ram and 2 xeon e5-2680 processors. I was surprised because the description said e-2670. I put my own ssd hard drive in and everything works great. Ive added wifi capability as well. Best price on the market for this type of build.

This thing is built like a tank. Added a 500Gb SSD, a 4Tb HDD & a free download of Windows 10 Pro. It rocks now.
