> 3 dayI’m in Senegal and needed wifi so I could connect to the outside world. After using 3 different kinds of SIM cards from there, I just gave up. Also, it would have been nice if the instructions were in English. I should have to go on YouTube to try to figure it out or scan a QR code to get it to semi work here in the US. What’s the point of scanning a QR code abroad if you aren’t connected to wifi (it’s pointless).

> 3 dayI purchased 3 of these because of the reviews. They work excellent. I am going to purchasing 50 for employees in Africa West. I personally carried 2 because I had 2 sims from different networks due to signal in different areas. The app is great because I can open up guest mode for others to join. It supported 8 devices easily. 2 MacBook Pros, 2 iPads and 4 phones. I used Speedtest.net to continuously check speed and when API was changed to WAN I was able to double my speed. I also found using a VPN doubled the speed. I could typically get 12-15mps down and 10-12mps up.

> 3 dayThis product is great, althought i have not tried it, but my friend had it. I originally bought to use with a local SIM card in Asia/Europe, but realized that its better to use a local SIM card with you unlocked phone, so you get a local phone number at the same time, plus local wifi coverage. If you will have to purchase a local SIM card for the device, might as well get a free local phone number, which is really handy at no extra cost.

> 3 dayRidiculously time consuming, impossible set up. Bottom line, never worked as intended-- as a pocket wifi.

> 3 dayI took this to Nigeria with me. It worked great! I bought a sim card there and it worked just fine. The QR code to log in was really small and took a bit to scan. It holds a charge for about 4 to 6 hours. Be mindful that it does get hot at times. I had to take it out of my bag a few times to just be sure air was getting to it. I didnt want it to overheat. Overall this little item is worth every penny. 9 out of 10 I recommend.

> 3 dayThis Hotspot is working for my two month trip to Italy! I paired it with a 12GB/60-day Cellhire SIM card (available here on Amazon) and after setup it has worked flawlessly here in Italy. It also worked for me during my layover in Holland. Gave the user interface 3 stars because the only user interface on the device are two LEDs to show battery power and cellular signal strength. All other device info is only available through an Huawei app (available on Apple app store and Google Play store) or via laptop connectiom using the IP address of hotspot. Overall, this is a really good hotspot with afforable price.

> 3 dayI was in Italy and France for 3 weeks, the device works using the Orange Holiday Europe SIM card. I was able to connect all my family devices while roaming around various cities. Make sure to get an extra battery or a power bank. The battery of the device will not last the whole day.
