I had never bought a record weight so I was kinda jumping in blindly to it but this one hit the nail! It fits my record player perfectly and even tho it’s not TOO heavy, it definitely helps a lot on the slight bend some of my records have. I will look into buying maybe the more heavier version for myself in the future just cause I think it’s better to have both options in case you need them, especially as someone who’s starting to grow their vinyl collection.

I was initially concerned about adding weight to my turntable. I dont want to shorten the life of the drive components however, it does not appear to be a problem. The sound quality was very noticeable and much improved.

Upgrade record weight stabilizer. Hudson HI-FI improves P1 Rega sound quality. You don’t really hear hum or audible hiss playing records.

Even if this record weight cannot completely overcome/control badly warped vinyl records, it apparently works fine as a semi-stabilizer. The chrome one I ordered is quite beautiful and heavy enough for my direct drive turntable (Denon DP-52F). Furthermore, its short height would not touch the closed dust-cover. Finally, the quality of packaging indicates the high quality of the product (it is designed and developed in NYC, yet is made in China). P.S. Incidentally it might work as a thermometer! because its from touching it that I noticed for the first time that the turntable motor has got too hot!! Just in case... :)

Simple but elegant. Fits perfectly on my Fluance Elite Turntable. Nice weight and does not stress the motor. Worthy addition to give increase improvement.

I believe record weights are something everyone should be using to add another tweak to improve your overall sound quality in your stereo rig. This is a very high quality record weight at a good price. Highly recommend this product!

Good quality but a little bit too big for Project Turntable as I can not close the lid with it on.

Works well for slightly warped records on my Audio technica Atlp60x but you cant close the dust cover while in use
