I purchased the LittleBen to try out on my Sansui and Technics turntables. It holds the records down flat with minimal weight. Id say the quality of sound improvement was around 20 percent. I have all new old stock Shure on my turntables and the LittleBen stabilized everything and made it sound better.

I wish it were a bit heavier but at this price point it is terrific.

I wanted the silver one so bad and they sent me the black matte which looks dull and you can get it at any vendor.....and it took forever to arrive. I mean, how hard is it to follow simple directions!!!

My vinyl records sound even more amazing with the addition of the SpaceBen. Records that had some issues sound better, and the ones in better shape sound wondrous. This was a recommendation from a friend also way into vinyl, and he was right.

A good little gadget to help stabilize the spin. Good value, nice compatibility and working well so far!

Well did it help anything this weight? Lots of folks say yeah but I hear nothing different. Maybe it does help some turntables? But I do like it because it has indents on two sides and now I can see that I left my manual turntable on without getting up and looking at it from the top! My wife laughed and thinks Im crazy for this purchase, but what does she know she married me! :)

I am so happy I bought this. I was having an issue with my old pioneer turntable. The platter seems to slip sometimes. I will have it restored one day. However I added this weight and that issue is gone. On top of that it helps maintain the RPM’s. Overall it’s just a solid, well built necessity for your turntable. I feel like you get a better spin with the record. It holds everything down nice and sturdy to allow the needle to travel much more stable. I love it.

On a cheap kit, this makes a difference! I have a typical Crosley turntable that I’ve modified with insulation, completely different stylus, etc., and I can tell you the weight is definitely helping to preserve some of the low-mid range on what’s typically lost due to vibration with this unit. Granted, it makes the motor hum a little which raises other concerns, but this weight is great for louder more upbeat albums where the record is trying to pump through a lot of low and mid range at the same time.
