> 3 dayThis was a little to tall to work while the dust cover was down, However it was close enough to almost close so there was not a noticeable difference in look. Did not help with warps but held my more slippery records down well. The weight was fine not slowing my intro turntable too much but a very slight noticeable slowdown. I use this enough to say it was worth the price at least. 3.5 stars if I could.

31-05-2025I was initially concerned about adding weight to my turntable. I dont want to shorten the life of the drive components however, it does not appear to be a problem. The sound quality was very noticeable and much improved.

> 3 dayWell did it help anything this weight? Lots of folks say yeah but I hear nothing different. Maybe it does help some turntables? But I do like it because it has indents on two sides and now I can see that I left my manual turntable on without getting up and looking at it from the top! My wife laughed and thinks Im crazy for this purchase, but what does she know she married me! :)

You need this if you want to get the best out of your vinyl records, especially if you are going to listen to your collection from the 1990s, which no doubt are slightly warped due to age and storage. This handy device works hard to put the vinyl into a playable position, The weight will slowly de-warp your albums, leaving you with a superb and higher quality listening experience!

> 3 dayPleasing aesthetics and a good weight, I found that it did improve on resonance and bass a bit when coupled with both metal and acrylic platters on 2 different TT’s. If your baseline is streaming CD grade music and you like to diverge into the vibe of vinyl on a quality built TT, I would try it out and let your own ears be the judge of any experience enhancement.

> 3 dayA little less tall than other weights and allows a Rega Dust cover to close without interference. Makes interesting reflections on a record (thought the record was dirty at first). Need to stop platter before removing as it is hard to grab while turning.
