Greater than one weekI love my cool humidifier, but I was having a terrible time keeping it clean. I would develop algae and pink slime in a short amount of time, and it is very hard to reach around inside to scrub. I was about to through it away and order a new one , but couldnt find a good replacement, so I decided to try this. When I received my humidifier drops, I used a bent long bottle brush and scrubbed it clean with white vinegar, rinsed it well, and filled with tap water, adding the required amount of drops for its size. I am so happy with these! They have kept my humidifier crystal clean since I started using them 2.5 months ago. They have no scent at all.
