Greater than one weekThis is my third mechanical keyboard. I also have a qisan 60% and a Matias Mini Tactile Pro. (80%, tenkeyless). I prefer this to the Matias because it is more compact and requires less stretching. I use function keys a lot and the F keys are an easier access than the Matias. The placement of the primary navigation keys is exactly as how I would have placed them if I designed this keyboard myself. Tactile and audible feedback of the blue keys is vital to my typing and not so loud as to distract my wife whose workstation is next to mine. The detachable cable is also a plus. Since the cable emerges from the bottom of the keyboard, it is easier for me to butt a small shelf right against the back of the keyboard and run the cable beneath it. Unlike the qisan, all key combinations work. All thumbs up for compactness and neatness and access. I have one recommendation: To preface, Im not a gamer. Im a coder and wanted backlighting to make it easier for me to type in ambient lighting. Im indifferent to the light shows and use only mode 1 (Lit Steady Mode). As it is now, it is only one keystroke to turn that mode on, but it is 10 keystrokes to turn it off. (Unless Im missing something, if so, please advise via comment). It would be great if I could access and turn off any mode with just one keystroke. All in all, five stars for the value, considering the price, a best value. Kudos to the manufacturers and designers!

> 3 dayI specialize in tech reviews. This is a fantastic, quick and responsive gaming keyboard. It’s worthy of competing with although this is one consideration: If you share the room, it’s one of the loudest keyboards I’ve ever encountered. Good lookin’ too! If you are the sole user you won’t even hear the loud sound of the keys after a while. However, be aware that others in your household may be annoyed if you share the room.

> 3 daySurprisingly I really like this keyboard especially for gaming. Its got its pros and cons but I still like it with variety of colors to ghost typing but one thing I do dislike is the noise that it gives you. I get its a mechanical keyboard but is it suppose to this loud? But anyways this is a very nice and clean keyboard, if I were you I would get the white because it looks very nice and overall I love it.

> 3 dayI like the RGB on this; it has lots of different RGB effects. The color doesnt seem as crisp as on my Zalman keyboard or even my DIERYA keyboard, but its bright enough that it doesnt really matter. It has the perfect layout I needed on my desktop (the Zalman is too big, the other is missing dedicated function keys and a weird shift and /? layout). The brown switches are comfortable; they are box switches however so O-rings may be difficult to install. My only real gripe is a metallic pinging sound the keys make. It only happens when you bottom out on the keys so if youre a light typist it shouldnt be a big issue. I dont know whether its the springs or the keys hitting the backplate, but the sound is annoying. Im hoping putting O-rings on the switches will alleviate the issue, but if it doesnt I may return the keyboard if it grows too annoying. Sucks because otherwise its a really great keyboard.

> 3 dayAfter one week this is what Ive noticed: I really like the feel of the keys. I like the size of the board. I like the noise and it is not too loud for someone who works in a room by themselves or a room full of other clacky keyboards. It might be annoying to other people in a relatively quiet place or in an office if you are the only one with this keyboard. The underside of the keys are exposed which lets you see the lights better but my cord keeps getting stuck under the Delete key which stops me from pushing it down. If you are someone that regularly uses the Shift-Insert or the Ctrl-Shift-Insert keys, you wont be able to do that with this keyboard. Youll need to use a mouse. I do hear a ringing sound when I release the keys if I listen closely but it isnt really noticeable so I would not consider that a big negative. If you have headphones on, you wont hear it at all. It would be nice to have a USB port on the keyboard that I could plug a mouse into so that I dont need to use a port on my laptop. If you can touch type, you will not notice the cool lighting on the keyboard. If you can not touch type, the seizure inducing lighting effects will make it more difficult to type. The lights are a really neat gimmick that will occupy you and your kids for about 2 minutes. The pulsing color-change keys look fantastic in a dark room.

> 3 dayIf you are buying this keyboard for cheap 75% clicky-key action and some nice RGB, this is a good choice--4/5 stars. Solid plate, small form factor, thin bezel--just a nice board. Be warned, youre buying into some serious click here; of clicky switches, outemu blues are considered louder than their Cherry or Gateron counterparts. Some may be disappointed by the lack of so-many-million color shades, or such-and-such color option, but for half the price of a typical 75% keyboard this seems alright. However, I bought this to change out the switches--like it advertised. Since this is a DIY board with no soldering, my ergo clears should plug in, right? Ah, no. Not quite. Two big issues: First, about 15 of the original outemu blue switches were solidly stuck into the board. No soldering, but there was a weak glue holding some of them in. After breaking through the switches housings from pulling so hard, I opened up the case. Careful prying with a tiny screwdriver managed to bust them out of the pcb. Second: the copper posts on the Cherry switches are too big for the holes on the pcb. Outemu switches should be fine--just plug in with no problem. To get my Cherry switches to fit, I grabbed a nail file and filed every.single.switch. After 4 hours filing all the copper posts to skinner versions of themselves, the Cherry switches could fit. But after all that, I managed to get my 75% keyboard with ergo clears and the neat semiotic standard keycaps from SP. To recap: if you want a very clicky and affordable keyboard, this is a strong contender. If you want to change out switches, you are in for some extra work.

Greater than one weeki love this keyboard. it sounds great but if someone in your household has a problem with noise, then i would not get this. its small and heavier than a normal keyboard. i like that it is heavier because it wont slide as easy. they keys are all super responsive and you dont have to press down hard on them at all. the colors are great. i just wish it came with some kind of case that i could store it in while im on trips to keep the dust off, but other than that, its a great keyboard. i would definitely recommend this to a friend

> 3 dayRecently my Corsair K70 met an unfortunate fate at the hands of my younger family members. So unfortunately I was in the market for another mechanical keyboard without breaking the bank, because we all know nothing breaks until you cant afford to fix it. I came across this keyboard, but was very skeptical because of the price point. This keyboard was literally half the price of my previous keyboard, so I expected it to preform how one would imagine. Surprisingly this keyboard had the same tactile feel, reassuring sound and similar quality of my previous keyboard. All the switches were working, and werent as loud as traditional blue switches which I found very attractive. Gives you the right amount of clack if you know what I mean. The back plate being metal Is a very nice touch. I love how sturdy the build feels, although Im sure youll need to clean this more than your average black plated keyboard. Im not big on the whole RGB thing, but it seems you cant escape that trend when it comes to purchasing modern computer parts and accessories lol. So if youre looking for some cool light functions, youll find it here. I never owned an 81 key compact keyboard, but I gotta say Im really enjoying the space it allows me to have. I was worried about things like multimedia keys and such because of how available they are on Corsair keyboards, but all my worries were thwarted once I got used to the FN+Multimedia keys. All in all Im not sure if I just happened to get the blessed keyboard in my time of need, but I can definitely see myself buying this keyboard again or recommending it to a friend or whoever is reading this.

08-06-2025I love this keyboard for the most part, easy to use, great size, clack is nice, RBG works, and the modes for the lights are great; however, when using this keyboard Ive found the board dropping key strokes. I know I active the key, but sometimes its just a dead press.

> 3 dayPerfect size, but I sometimes hit the windows key when I’m in the middle of a match. If you get this I recommend getting one of those wrist rests to elevate your hand and prevent it from hitting any keys while playing.
