> 3 dayI purchased this keyboard about four months ago, as I was looking for a keyboard with a 75% layout and brown switches. In that time, three keys have had faulty presses and had to be replaced; luckily the keyboard comes with a switch remover and five spare switches to replace them with. Its good that they can be replaced, but Im worried more might break in the future. The switches are Outemu switches, by the way. About the backlighting - I dont use the backlighting much, but it has many colors and effects to choose from, and its definitely bright enough to make out. Pros: Solid/sturdy and thick detachable cable(but not braided) Trenches on the bottom to route the cable to the sides or directly ahead Compact 75% layout 5 extra switches and switch remover Cheap Cons: Questionable switch quality (three failures in four months) Ugly gamer font Some flex when pressing down hard in the middle No bumpers along edges to protect keys when stowed in bag

Greater than one weekUPDATE 08/16/2021 So just wanted to update. I was searching around for a different keyboard and couldn’t quit find the same form factor and light colors as this one. The vortex racer 3 is close but the key caps are not transparent and it does cost quite a bit more. I considered switching the key caps but really did not want to spend time filing contacts for any cherry type. There are some aftermarket otemu switches but it would cost more then this keyboard cost to replace all the switches which seems crazy! After searching around I saw people use contact cleaner so got some deoxit from here and went through spraying all the switches. It freaked out since some weren’t working well right after but just had to press those keys a few times. So far I am happy to report all keys seem to be working ok and I have not noticed missed key presses anymore. In the world of mechanicals it probably isn’t the best by far but I like it, it has all the things I want in a keyboard and I can type pretty quick on it. At some point I may get a nicer keyboard but for now this one is great for my tiny ikea desk and needing the home/end keys l. At first everything was great. It took me a bit to get used to the form factor but it saved so much space on my tiny desk. I love the lights, I just have mine set to the every key being a different color and it looks great like a bowl of lucky charms or something. Also typing was great. But now a few keys misfire a lot. I have to hit then a few times to get them to work. I use this for work and that gets frustrating quick. I see quite a few other reviews complaining of the same thing so probably not a fluke. I was going to get a name brand one but don’t know if I can find the same light configuration. For another 50-60 bucks you can get a good name brand one, I guess I should have. Overall I will maybe look into replacing the caps with something more reliable but I am seeing other reviews had some challenges there so not sure. Other than the key issue everything else is awesome but a keyboard than can’t type is worthless right?

> 3 dayThe keyboard is worth every penny. I had a regular office keyboard I used and sometimes the keys wouldnt register causing me to lose in a lot of games. Now that is not a problem because this keyboard gives you a satisfying and not too loud click. I was worried that the key switches were going to be too loud but if you get the brown switches like I did, it does not make a big click. If you do want the loud clicky sounds, you should get the blue switches. Also the RGB and colors look beautiful with my white themed gaming setup.

> 3 daythis keyboard is for sure worth it, granted this is my first mechanical keyboard i’m not a newcomer when it comes to them. i’ve done plenty of research for all types of keyboards, and while there are plenty more amazing keyboards for double/triple the price, i see no reason in having to spend that much. if you want a true rgb mechanical keyboard for under $50 (varies on which type you get) that will without a doubt get the job done, HUO is the way to go. this will especially be a great starter keyboard if you’re getting into PC gaming. the quality of the keyboard is very trustworthy and sturdy, you can tell its definitely built to last you a very long time. the color/brightness of the rgb lighting is a true eye-catcher as well. i bought the blue switch version and if you’re into clicky-clacky keyboards then you’ll for sure want this version. overall i really appreciate a keyboard as good as this one for being under $50 and i am well-pleased with my purchase.

Greater than one weekI love this keyboard. There is just enough resistance to the keys, and the sounds it makes are very satisfying. Ive had it over a year now and it has held up very well. There is one weird thing about it to know, but its not a deal breaker: The keyboard comes with a USB-A cord, which is fine. But the other end of the cord that connects to the keyboard technically comes out and *looks* like a USB-C port. However, the keyboard does NOT have a real USB-C port on it, so dont try to use your own USB-C cable with it. Just use the cord that comes with it and youll be fine.

> 3 dayThis is a great keyboard for those looking for good mechanical switches under $50. I havent had any problems with the Brown switches -- they are clicky enough to feel feedback but not too much to the point of being obnoxious. While I wish the RGB was programmable, there are enough pre-programmed effects to keep you satisfied (keep in mind there are only 7 options for solid colors (Red-Orange, Green, Royal Blue, Yellow, Hot Pink, Sky Blue, and White). The white & aluminum finish is beautiful, and this is one of the few white 60% keyboards that still manage to fit in arrow keys. You wont regret this purchase! UPDATE 1: After several months of using this keyboard, I notice one issue that is worth mentioning but does not change my initial review. Every few months, one of the keys (usually the keys I use frequently for gaming) will become faulty. It will not register every click and either requires cleaning or replacement. Luckily, a few replacement switches have been provided which I have swapped in without issue. However, Im starting to run out and will eventually need to buy more replacements or another board. Amazon has replacements for 20 keys/$11 so its not a huge deal and doesnt change the overall value of the board too much. Update 2: Still giving this 5 stars as everything I said above holds true, but you definitely start to feel the cheapness of the switches over time. I noticed after a year of use that I was never really typing at the level of accuracy I desired. I also felt I was pressing keys much harder than I wanted to which prevented me from getting a gliding flow while writing for long periods of time. The amount of pressure needed to register a keystroke even began to hurt my wrists over time. I believe this is due to Outemu switches being far less smooth than something like Gateron. I also wanted to go wireless as it was much easier for cable management. I upgraded to the Anne Pro 2 which is a much better typing experience with improved features. If you have the extra ~$50 to spend I might recommend something like that or the Ducky One 2 Mini.

> 3 dayDidnt know what to expect ordering this keyboard, after seeing the large variety of 60%/ similar looking keyboards for sale. But this one truly, truly feels worth the price. Absolutely beautiful RGB LED backlighting, small size and lightweight, and tested 100% compatible with our extra Cherry MX style replacement keycaps. Lighting effects are fun and all the main effects are there, FN hot keys work and its easy to remember the important ones you use often. Unlike most of the other small 60% size boards missing the F keys, having them with this board is really great, and doesnt add much to the overall size whatsoever! Great keyboard, and if it stays around this price I might purchase another for work!

> 3 dayI love this keyboard for the most part, easy to use, great size, clack is nice, RBG works, and the modes for the lights are great; however, when using this keyboard Ive found the board dropping key strokes. I know I active the key, but sometimes its just a dead press.

> 3 dayReally needed a white keyboard to go with my new set-up while also wanteing to downsize, and boy this thing is great. Love the routing channels for the cord, love the feel of it, and the lighting looks wonderful. Only have a few dislikes. First, I cant seem to find a mode to just set a solid color. Second, the keys seem just a little loud (I went with the brown switches), but they still arent quite as loud as blues I suppose. Ill probably just spend a few bucks on some o-rings to fix this. ALSO, BIG PLUS is the lack of branding on the keyboard. They avoided slapping logos all over it in gaps or on the top. The only logo is a small one on the space bar that is actually kind of cool.

> 3 dayI wanted a physical keyboard for my Samsung tablet and look around at a few different keyboards until I saw this one. I was afraid of it not working, but I figured Id at least give it a shot. The keyboard lit up as soon as I plugged it in and it works great. I like how portable it is and how easy it is to connect it to my tablet. I have not used it for gaming, but I dont know why it wouldnt work for that. I mainly use it for typing up documents or writing essays for school. It works well for my needs and have had it for over a month. Again, I am happy with my purchase.
