Ive been using this for a few weeks now and am very pleased. Ive been using another well known supplier of power supplies for the last few years (RAV Power) and they set the bar for quality and value very high. This unit has so far been its equal. Have used it to power/charge a variety of mobile devices from a micro-usb 2.0 device to a Samsung 9+. Charge time for those devices is as expected, matching or exceeding the performance of my previous unit. (Which by the way is still working. It didnt fail, just gave it a new home) Kudos to HUSSELL for a job well done. I would definitely buy again.

Pros: everything written about this charger is true, fast, durable metal, great quality and looks nice. Cons: tends to push out slightly and connection is lost in my 2008 Honda CRV. I just give it a push and all good again.

When I first got this product, I was very skeptical about its claims that both USB ports output 3 Amps. I already had a cord that could support the current, but I didnt have the adapter that could deliver that current, which was my problem. In my own car, my previous adapter had 3 amps total over 3 ports, meaning it output 1 amp in each port. This has 6 amps to deliver in 2 ports, so, with the correct charging cable, you can make use of the extremely fast charging. Over the course of 10 minutes, it charged about 13%. I have a Samsung Galaxy 8, so the battery isnt small. I highly recommend this product IF you also grab a USB 3.0 cable, which will be able to handle the current.

Quality build and material, tucks neatly into lighter socket and out of the way, illuminated and at a fantastic price! Whats not to love about this product?

Apparently most 12 v sockets are 1 inch in diameter and will work with most fast chargers. Honda for reasons known only to themselves uses a .082 socket. The specs for this at .08 are right on. It fits flush and is a relatively small unit that works great.

Whats not to like!? Made very solid, Feels great in the hand and not cheap feeling at all. Sits in the 12v socket snug but even better it sits in shallow and is not ugly or bulky. the guts.. Must say, it charges fast like it claims and i have no worries of anything getting damaged or overheating because of how it is designed. There is a blue LED ring that illuminates around the top of the charger and IMO it sets it off perfectly. If it stays on while your car is off do NOT panic. It would take more then a few nights to drain anything and i have left mine plugged in since the day it arrived. No issues and definitely the best bang for your buck. The cherry on top - i was the 50th customer to purchase and every other 50th receives a a coupon for 1 FREE , NO gimmicks no tricks. If you open your box and see a voucher for free charger- follow the few very simple directions and within a week or so (blame covid for delays, not these guys) you will have yourself a whole nother identical awesome charger. I couldnt believe it. Made my day lol its the little things I guess .. 2 thumbs way up, and not just because I got a free 2nd one.

I must say, this little item was well made, better than other plastic models. It boasts all of the features you would want in a USB plug device and smart too! I am happy this little plug really preforms and has has auto shut off when the device your charging tops off at 100 percent complete. I has spring loaded ball bearings on the sides to hold it in the lighter plug-in unlike the others which are made with a metal spring clip. It has LED illumination and glows blue when the lights are turned down low. Nice price too!

I like how quick I can charge my phone, which is the reason that I purchased the charger. I also like having two USB outlets so that anyone riding with me can charge their phone at the same time. The charger is solidly built. I would have given it five stars if it was not for one of the USB ports that began to work sporadically.

Ordered this charger to complement a new wireless charging mount for my truck. Previously I was using a Trond brand 3-slot fast charger that was doing a great job, but it was outdated and couldnt provide the speed level from this charger. The Trond one still works all the same, but it was slow charging with my wireless mount. Enter the Hussell brand one. Due to the onboard chip in this charger that supports Qualcomm 3.0 high-speed charging standard, it jives much better with my Qi 10W fast wireless charging solution. By comparison, I have a Samsung Note 10 phone with both wireless fast charging support and corded fast charging. Once I upgraded my car charger to this model, 63% battery to Full battery on the wireless solution was 59 minutes. When my phone was plugged into a dedicated fast wall charger, at the same percentage of 63%, recharge time to Full was 44 minutes. This is only a difference of 15 minutes when using a wireless fast charging solution. Thats crazy good because you would expect less efficiency (I also have a slim case on my Note 10 that may/may not contribute to wireless charging deficiencies). Overall, this charger will match wall-plug speeds if you have a phone that supports Qualcomm Fast Charge 3.0. The days of slow car charger performance are over. In terms of longevity time will only tell. However, I can comment on initial build quality observations and they are all positive. The device is surprisingly heavy for its size due to it being made out of metal. This is a tiny accessory, by the way. I took a photo of the object in comparison to a standard coffee mug. The box this thing comes in is also petite. Cute, I would venture to say, would describe the packaging. The only downside to this device lies in the price they are asking for it. At $15 (on sale!) there are a considerable number of plastic-housing clones that could do the job probably just as well. Afterall, my Trond is a plastic device and is still going strong after 3+ years. I paid less for that when I bought it. Never the less, I do not fault the manufacturer for delivering a higher priced item because I see the quality is present in its construction. The addage that typically rings true; you get what you pay for; applies in this case 100%. If you dont mind the extra few bucks, spend them wisely and get this little guy. Its a well-made beast that I anticipate will last you many reliable years.

I recently had to swap vehicles with an out of state coworker, the vehicle that they had was a 2008 and mine is a 2015. Their vehicle didnt have any USB ports and my phone was down to 15%. I asked my coworker if he would leave this charger so I could charge my phone and he did. Ive used it for the last couple of weeks and I have to say that Im impressed by how quick it charges my phone ( I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 ). It charges as fast, if not faster than the wall charger! I ordered myself one this last Sunday and I received it Tuesday. It is constructed very well and performs as described. I think its a must have for everyone, you will not be disappointed!
