Originally purchased this headset about 2.5 years ago and was blown away at the crystal clear sound. The audio volume control started messing up so I was on the market for a new headset. I tried several other brands from cheap no brands to high end headsets and always have a muffled not so crystal clear sound so reverted back to what I thought was the original model hyperx clouds....and this is not the original hyperx clouds, something changed.. the cord itself is different, the volume control is different and it did not come with an extra set of ear pads like the original clouds did. The sound is muffled but I guess they all just seem that way to me. Idk

If headphones were slightly louder I would be happy. Overall good product for the money.

These headphones are super comfortable! The memory foam adds an extra level of comfort, and background noise cancellation. At first, the memory foam may seem a little stiff, but the more you wear it, the more comfortable it is. The microphone isn’t the best it could be. My gaming buddies told me that my old USB Logitech headphones from my PS3 that I used with my PS4 had a better microphone. But I was willing to sacrifice a higher quality microphone for excellent sound! I will say that out of the box, the headphones were quiet even when turned all the way up on the built in controller, but after going into settings on the PS4 and turning them up through that, and then turning it up on the built in controller, the volume was a lot more than enough. My biggest complaint would be that the microphone audio doesn’t go through the headset, meaning you can’t hear yourself talk. It makes it a little bit more difficult to talk, and you constantly feel like you’re yelling. The microphone does do a great job of canceling background noise. Someone will be talking to me three feet away, and my microphone won’t pick it up. Overall I will say that these are definitely worth it for any gamer because of their excellent price for what you are getting. With more use, I think i’ll get used to them.

Ive only had these for a few months (used very rarely) and they stopped working today.
