Well written story about a young woman who has survived unspeakable abuse at the hands of her father and the men he sold her to. Add in a detective whos a bit too interested in her and the fact shes had a major mental breakdown and has a gun ....

This is a dark twisted suspense filled story of a young woman and the horrible things she lived through.Elle was a quite tortured woman shed been abused since she was eight.But she found a place in her mind that she would go as man after man abused her.Her father an TBE men he sold her too. The ex Detective was investigating four missing men and was this king it was Elles father. This story will keep you on the edge of your seat and the characters will captivate you.Will the detective feel things for Elle that he shouldnt? Will he try an help her?There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page an leave you begging formore.I love the way this amazing author Bri vs the story to life before your eyes an you can feel their emotions an their pain. I can hardly wit to see whats next by this multi talented autbor.I voluntarily decided to review this advanced reader copy because its a really good suspense filled thriller and I wanted other avid readers to know its so worth reading .

One of the very best psychological thrillers I have ever read. The ending had me racing back over to Amazon for book 2! I have such great sorrow for Eleanore, the abused victim, and I like Detective Ramirez so much. First book I have read with a Spanish detective - cool. Filled with a lot of surprises, all of which fit into a logical pattern. I highly recommend this book.

Kept me guessing til right at the end. Well written. Character well developed.

This book is probably one of the best books I’ve read. Easy read, riveting, tragic, great chacters with a lot of twists and turns. Will definately follow this writer.

OH MY ........GOD !!!! A few pages into this book , I was like , WHAT have I gotten Urself into ?? !! And then , I kept reading ...... And it was almost like watching a bus or train wreck - I Know its gonna be HORRIBLE, but I cant stop watching !! So I kept reading . This book is about a small town girl named Elenore. She has no one except her Father . No family , no friends. Her Father is not what you would call nice . He is Very far from nice . Everyone in town even knows, about the physical abuse . They can guess at what else. But any attempt to help the poor girl was thwarted by the courts, and that was that . For them. But poor Elenore still stayed. Evan Ramirez is an investigator who has just been hired from our of town. One of his 1st cases is three missing persons . All men . During his investigation , one name kept coming up......Elijah Griffin. All roads lead to him. As investigator Ramirez keeps digging , he finds way more then he bargains for . I found this book totally captivating, and once started , I could hardly put it down !!! Once again Ditter Kellen has touched my soul..........
