> 3 dayOk, first I want to let you know I have never read this author before. I am soooo glad I did. I started this book at night and read over 50% before I had to force myself to put it down to get some sleep. Though the subject matter made me very squeamish, I just kept turning the pages because I couldnt help myself. It was so well written. Now, some people are giving bad reviews because of the ending. While Ill admit I was upset, I did see that a sequel was to be released late August early September. At least I hope that is the case because it was quite an abrupt ending. I was like w-h-a-t? Did I miss something? All in all if it ends there, when you think about it, all ends could be tied up. I want it to continue though. As it seems so do other readers. There are p!aces it can still go. You must try this book. I highly recommend it.

Greater than one weekThis book is amazing! Keeps you wanting to know more! The unfortunate and horrific things that happened to this child is only a brief description of what goes on behind closed doors perpetrated by civilian masks we see everyday. A must read!

> 3 dayThis is one of the Very Best psychological thrillers that I’ve read in a long time. It is so sad. The pain, humiliation and torture this girl went through. It’s a dark and twisted story. There are triggers that you need to be aware of: rape, torture, child abuse, and pedophelia, to name a few. There is a cliffhanger, so I will, definitely, be reading the sequel.

> 3 dayI was hooked right away on this story and it it within 24 hours. I can’t wait to read the next one. There are triggers in this book. But if you enjoy these kind of stories then I am sure you are aware. Elle was abused from her childhood and even when she became an adult. This is not an HEA and ends on a cliffhanger which I think should have been noted. The author has a way of keeping the characters interesting and wanting you to find out what will happen to Elle.

> 3 day**Just a quick note before my review…this book contains situations that some people might be offended by or may have a hard time reading. This is not a book for the faint of heart or someone who may have issues abuse triggers. Now onto my review… Ditter Kellen has done an amazing job writing I Am Elle. I really wasn’t sure what to expect. I am not a big fan of Psychological Thrillers. I knew that there was going to be triggers in the book, but that did not stop me from reading the book. I felt that she approached these triggers in a way that did not make me super uncomfortable. She leads you to the situation without going overboard. Our brains are smart enough to stop the things we could imagine if they become too much. Below is my breakdown of the book without giving away too much. I Am Elle is truly a unique book for many reasons. The main character Elenore “Elle” Griffin is a young girl who has been brutalized both physical and emotional by her father Elijah Griffin. Her mother disappears out of her life at an early age. She does recall some memories of her mom throughout the book. Elijah at times would sell his poor daughter off to others and let them have their way with her. When people start to go missing in the small-town Detective Evan Ramirez comes help the local police department. Upon meeting Elenore he finds that he has a need to help her and protect her. Detective Ramirez is trying to piece together the whole picture. He is working on the missing person’s cases and trying to help Elenore. He knows that she is in a bad place and that her father may have some involvement with the missing people. I Am Elle takes us for on many twists and turns. I would highly recommend this book to others to read. I really had no idea that is how it would end. I am pretty sure that I had to go back and read it again to be sure of what I had read. I feel the need to end my review with WOW!!!
