> 24 hourAm a electrical contractor , we have used the old version of this, old one went down, Ideal would not fix it. Very disappointed with Ideal. New one was so much , after spending $$$ on three units and them not willing to repair them. But found this one on here, for a few dollars less. Am happy with the purchase. But to think that you have to buy new because of no support. Is crazy, not like it is a $100 unit. Update 05/08/2020 My last one went down, now I have 4 units not working , and no repair service . So I am now going to greenly CS-8000 , which I am ordering this Monday , has lifetime warranty and looks like it does more and coming in under $800 for the better model. I will let you know how it works . Very disappointed with Ideal and the no care service .

> 24 hourI bought this to chase wires in a home done wrong,It worked beyond what I thought it could do, chased 12/2 from outside finished garage through house to back wall 50 ft. walking good 80 ft. of wire (why put these switches here, I thought it was a joke at first) worked through 5/8 drywall no problem, circuit was dead so I jump the neutral from a cord with the attachment

> 24 hourThese work great. Parking lot poles can be a long way away from the breaker panel and these can trace at long distance. Sometimes it can gove you a little false reading, it might hit on other breakers on same phase or sometimes breakers near the actual circuit. But overall this is the best, Especially for commercial electrical work. This is probably overkill for a home owner or residentual electrician though. Ive used these for years as a commercial electrician, highly recommend. Probably the only one I would recommend for 3phase 277/480v systems.
