I have construction going on at work and decide to plug critical RJ45 ports on certain equipment in order to keep the dust out. These plugs fit nicely and the softness of the plug ensures they will not damage the port. I was concerned about heat but after monitoring my gear, I have not seen an increase in temp.

Tell me, why did I spend almost 10 bucks on this? Oh well, at least it keeps the unused ports on my remote switches clean. Expensive for what it is and the fit is not really all that good. They seem to stay in place, but this is not my favorite purchase.

These are great little plugs, Im using them to cover up currently unused network ports in my switch and gateway. They fit snug and seem well made and I believe theyll last as long as I need them to. I feel like $10 for 50 of them is a pretty good deal, thats only twenty cents each! If you have a lot of ports you want to protect, this is the way to go.
