We bought this set to take apart a Joy-Con that got something in it. My husband was able to find something that worked beautifully to take apart the Joy-Con. Since then he has used it for his sunglasses as well. He loves the quality and versatility.

I just needed a Torx T6 to tighten some screws so originally I bought one of the many cheap sets that you can find on Amazon and elsewhere. That got returned the next day, the tip just rounded and appeared to be made of cheese. So, guided by the positive reviews, I bought the IFIXIT set - theres a reason it costs considerably more - the quality is superb and its a pleasure to use. Its also a very comprehensive set with every precision tool I could ever imagine using. Very satisfied customer.

High strength bits, not cheapo soft metal that gets married when you put enough torque on them

The product came quite fast and well-packaged. The quality of the bits also seems to be good enough for the price. However, my set came with a missing magnet on the bendable extension part, so any bit I slot into it falls right back out rendering it unusable. Obviously a quality control issue not present in all of the sets, but it does mean I will have to return the item. However, what will be present in all of the sets, is the black marking of the bits on black background, making it very hard to actually see the markings even with proper lightning. It would be quite hard to tolerate for anyone using multiple bits at a time.

Ive been running with this really old, cheap Chinese brand screwdriver kit for a good 10 years, and just decided to upgrade. The selection of bits on my old kit was severely lacking, so I wanted to be sure to get a set with plenty of options. I came across a few iFixit review videos on YouTube and decided to order a set. The experience so far has been really pleasant. The kit comes with a ton of different bit options. It has plenty of basics like Philips head and Flat head at different sizes, but also uncommon ones like the star shaped tip with the security hole, a triangle shaped bit, and even a tip with a magnet (for easily grabbing rogue screws that fall under a motherboard, for instance). I was even surprised it had a teeny, tiny 5-point bit for my Corsair mouse.

I have bad controll in my hands but with screwdriver I can easily hold my hand steady and use it with no issues
