AWESOME BIT SET. Expensive, but has everything needed and a little more.

Had everything I needed dissect and add memory to new Mac mini.

Great Set! I would have given it a perfect score if the screw driver extension piece had a magnetic end just like the main screw driver. Also, and just a small point but adding an exacto knife would have been nice for when opening some boxes.

This kit has everything I have needed for almost the past year. I have used it for several projects now. None of the parts feel cheap. Flexing extension does not had a magnetic tip ,but that is all.

I bought this kit when I got into mobile device repair. The bits fot about every bolt known to man at the time and work rather well. Sometimes, I clamp them in my drill and use them on laptops or disassembling hard drives. Tough but they arent built for such intense use. Love them and would recommend them every time.

I absolutely love this kit, nice bit holder made out of aluminum, with well-made knurling and ball bearing top, tons of shims, guitar picks and openers, magnetic mat under the bit set can be used for screw, same as the lid, only gripe is both being black, sure it would be look worse, but its much more usable. On that note I love the way the bits are held in foam meaning they are really easy to pull out, which is especially important with those small micro bits that are usually finicky to take out.

Product was great for the first 2 and a half months that I have been using it until I noticed a minor rust spot on one of the bits today. I started to examine other bits and found rust on bits that I have never used and found rust inside of the bit driver and on some of the bit case housing. This is very disappointing considering I have never had the product close to water and the product never saw humidity above 40% (which is normal in a house)

I thought this kit sounded a bit expensive compared to “similar” products on Amazon but having used some of those “similar” products this is far and away better and a great value if you routinely work with electronics or repair other household items.

Ive always been happy with iFixit tool kits, though this one is noticeably higher quality than the previous kits. The kit materials are nicer, organization is much better, and the actual tool quality is much better than previous kits Ive worked with. Nicely done iFixit!!!
