> 24 hourI am having trouble connecting this divide. I have tried several times with the app and with Alexa. I have other plugs that connect right away, even after removing them, renaming them, or disconnecting them. This one has proven impossible. Two stars because the design sits flat on the ground or the wall, and the plugs face downward, preventing any water from getting in. I am disappointed with the Bluetooth connection; the instructions say that I have to use less than 5G, which may be the problem. I do not have these issues with my other plugs.

> 24 hourI highly recommend this if you’re looking for an outdoor smart plug. I put off fooling with it for over a week because I thought it would be a headache to get it setup. Nope. Had it connected to my Smart Life app and plugged up outside in under 5 minutes. There’s a plug-in streetlight I use in my front yard to pull into my driveway at night, otherwise I can’t see. This wi-fi plug allows me to turn it on and off from anywhere without plugging and unplugging. It’s located at least 20 feet from where my modem is located inside my house and I have no problem with my connection. I can’t say if it would pick up a wifi connection any further out, but if it didn’t, that would really be more an issue with your router’s signal strength than this product. In that case, I’d recommend getting a stronger router or a signal booster. Luckily, I didn’t have any issues. It’s also nice to know that the other switch is controlled separately. It’s PERFECT for holiday lights. Again, I HIGHLY recommend this little thing. I can’t compare it to any other brands because this is my first one. All I can tell you is that this one in particular does its job well and is easy as pie to set up. If it proves not to be outdoor friendly or I begin to have connectivity problems, I’ll come back to let you know. For right now, it gets 10 stars. A+

> 24 hourThe setup on this outlet is simple which I enjoyed, and I really like that you can separately name and control each outlet! The app the runs this device is very simple to use and has a timer on/off switch which is great for having things not on all day or night and saving on electricity. The only thing I found was a bit of a downside was the range for the Wi-Fi was not very good. I had it plugged in outside to help have some lighting on a timer and the device connected while inside, but when I went outside and set it up it wouldn’t connect to the WiFi in the house.

> 24 hourConnecting to wifi and getting it set up took less than 5 minutes. Linking to Google Home was super easy too! Setting it up to come on at a certain time and go off at another was also super easy! I am also able to tell Google to turn it off/on without any issues! If you set this up to have one plug always on and one on a timer, just double check on the device to make sure the outlet that should remain on, remains on. I found out by accident that one outlet was off. Overall, this device really is the easiest wifi connected device that I have set up this year! It does what it should and responds when needed. Highly recommended.

> 24 hourI literally had this smart outlet up and running within about 10 minutes of opening the box. The box came a bit mangled (Amazon packaging problem...not a product problem) but because the plug was well secured in plastic molding, it was not damaged by the smashing of the exterior box. I plugged it in, downloaded the Geeni app, logged into Geeni with my google account, the device was immediately located by the app, I renamed the device, then named the plug, and then I was able to push a single button within the app to link it to my Google Home account. Voila! I then attached my device (using for my outdoor patio lights) and immediately I was able to use the Google Home Assistant to turn them on/off. I was also able to turn them on/off through the Google Home app. Not sure I will ever even use the Geeni app since it is now integrated so well in the Google Home app. My only wish is that it had its own hardware remote control. Sometimes we are not within earshot of the google devices and may not have the phone handy. Would be nice to simply have a physical remote control mounted outside on the patio for easy use. But otherwise, a simple, easy to install and integrate, product.

> 24 hourIHome was great for automating some of my Christmas lights. I scheduled the lights to turn on at four and turn off at 10 PM and it does it on a dime very easily. At first it was a bit difficult to sync the plug in the app but there was some connectivity issues but it did after a couple of tries. The Geeni app is very intuitive and very easy to use. It was very easy to find the Geeni Alexa skill and it worked flawlessly. I can give voice commands to Alexa and she’ll turn them on and off whenever I want but the scheduling works on top of that. So this was great. This is located on my deck and I live close to Seattle so it’s always raining and I haven’t run into any issues yet.
