iHome Flow Outdoor Smart Plug with Dual Sockets, Weatherproof IPX3 WiFi Plug with 2 Individually Controlled Smart Outlets, Works with Alexa & Google Home Voice Activation

IHome appears to have discontinued support for HomeKit. The Home app on iPad no longer recognizes these devices.

I am having trouble connecting this divide. I have tried several times with the app and with Alexa. I have other plugs that connect right away, even after removing them, renaming them, or disconnecting them. This one has proven impossible. Two stars because the design sits flat on the ground or the wall, and the plugs face downward, preventing any water from getting in. I am disappointed with the Bluetooth connection; the instructions say that I have to use less than 5G, which may be the problem. I do not have these issues with my other plugs.

Open the manual and it says do NOT use outdoors. Also failed on me the first day running on a 11amp draw. Basically it’s for a couple little lights. Good luck with this one.

This was very simple to set up. Easy to download the app and connected on the first shot. App is clean and straightforward. Turn it on and off and can set schedules. Will be perfect for outdoor lights. We connected it to Alexa for voice control and surprisingly there were no issues! Finally something that worked! Definitely recommend.

Does exactly what it says it does. Works really good and very easy set up.

It works great! Completely weather proof in the desert with rain and dust/sand!

Would have rated as outstanding except that the app (geeni) I does NOT allow for the older model iHome plugs. So you either use two apps (geeni and iHome) or buy all new plugs. Bad feature.

Turns out it is compatible with our Alexa echo dot too!

The outdoor plug is very easy to setup. One mistake I made was thinking it would use the IHome app which it does not. The instructions point to the geeni app. This is not a negative on the product but something to be aware of. After setup I am able to link it to Alexa and control each outlet in the plug individually. The plug looks well made and my problems so far. When placing this plug it will need to go on the bottom outlet plus must hang off the floor. If you place plug on the floor or upside down in the elements the plug will get damaged since it is not designed to work in that position.
