These cables are well made and reasonably flexible. The molded pugs fit well in a power port as well as connecting to other cables. The set includes a union for extending the cable or for use as a gender-bender in different applications. The affixed pug covers are not super tight and Im not sure Id expect them to be waterproof but better than nothing. Good cable and reasonably priced.

We are using these cables when setting up our portable solar panels for use when camping. The 10-foot length makes it easier to get the panel in the sun while still keeping our electronic gear inside the shelter. The cables hook up quickly and stay in place while in use. Once we take everything down, the cable ends have covers to protect them until next time. At 14AWG, these are a fairly decent size, not flimsy wires inside, so they should last us for many years.

The plugs fit securely into my existing SAE plugs. The wire gauge is a bit small for the current from all my solar panels, but more than adequate for one of them. Having ten extra feet of cord between panels and battery is really nice for moving the panels around to get the best sun but not having to move the battery box. These are handy.

No complaints. Seems to be well constructed.

2 pack SAE extension cords 14 AWG Good cables at a good price. These are to add my collection of cables for emergencies, so I can power things from my solar generator or car batteries. Power cuts are what I worry about most, having a basement with a sump pump. I have some DC pumps that I can run off a 12v Battery or from a solar generators. These cables extend the range. REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. My reviews are NOT based on packaging or if it was delivered timely.

These are very high quality 10-foot SAE extension cables, as good or better than any Ive ordered in the past. Im using these for my motorhome, to be able to put my solar panels anywhere I need to, in order to get the best sunlight exposure. Especially useful when camping in an area with a lot of trees. Highly recommended, and well worth the asking price of around $30 for two, including a polarity reverser. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Works well, Does what it is supposed to. The cable is flexible even in colder weather. If you need to extend a battery maintainer or a solar panel this works fine.

Our camper has solar built in to the roof, but we usually dont want to park it in direct sun, which means were not getting maximum solar exposure. There is a solar port on the outside however, and this cable- two ten-footers than can clip together into a 20-footer- provides a good solution to get more sun on an auxiliary panel by allowing us to stretch out 20 feet from our location.

I’ve recently installed solar panels on my RV to help keep the batteries charged in the winter. But I’ve found that the cables included with the chargers tend to be way too short. So I ordered these ‘SAE Extension Cables’ to remedy the situation. These cables work great with one exception. They seem to be well made and fit perfectly on my OEM SAE solar cables. There is no drop in voltage when I use them. My only complaint, however, is that these cables are not at all pliable or bendable when they are cold. You need to make sure you store them at room temperature before you install them. It makes your job a lot easier. All in all…with the exception of the. ‘bending problem’, I’m happy with these solar power extension cables and can recommend them.

Use these with my Kayak. Easy to connect and disconnect. Will know more about waterproofing (saltwater) in time. Have worked well for a number of outings since installed.
