I use these to power portable lights for the truck and trailer. They work great, and connect firmly.

No complaints so far. It is what I expected it would be.

Works well, Does what it is supposed to. The cable is flexible even in colder weather. If you need to extend a battery maintainer or a solar panel this works fine.

These cables are of excellent quality. They mated perfectly with the existing 4 conductor plug as an extension to charge a motorcycle battery remotely. I plan to use for powering pool cover pump, too.

Did not use this for a solar setup, instead they were used to extend the reach of my wall mounted battery tender charger/maintainer and for that they do a perfect job.

Use these with my Kayak. Easy to connect and disconnect. Will know more about waterproofing (saltwater) in time. Have worked well for a number of outings since installed.

2 pack SAE extension cords 14 AWG Good cables at a good price. These are to add my collection of cables for emergencies, so I can power things from my solar generator or car batteries. Power cuts are what I worry about most, having a basement with a sump pump. I have some DC pumps that I can run off a 12v Battery or from a solar generators. These cables extend the range. REVIEW PHILOSOPHY: I only review a product if it is something I am capable of critically evaluating through comparison, testing and use. This means I have experience of using similar items; or that I have equipment or tools that I can test it with; or that I have an upcoming need so I can actually use. I am as selective about getting an item to review as I would be about purchasing that same item, so yes, I expect it to be a good product. As a practical matter, these cables seem to have reasonably durable insulation and conduct electricity, so they do what is intended. I was not thrilled with the connectors. In my photo, the connector on the left is from a different cable.. This cable has one that is more narrow and tapered so you dont get a snug connection. They work fine plugging into something else, but these cables dont firmly hold when connected together. One final note, these are 3 meters and not 10 feet. Not that big of a deal, but something to be aware of. (The 3 inch difference is not much until you come up short.)

I have used these paired 12v peers connectors for years, a k when I was installing radio communication systems in fleet vehicles. I’m glad to see these have become mainstream. I uses these power ports in all my vehicles, having a stub out installed in the grill to plug in chargers or accessories. Now that these factory assembled extension cables are available, it opens up new possibilities, such an connecting to a solar panel set on the ground, rather than mounted on the roof. These heavy gauge, insulated assemblies are up to the task of this rugged handling.
