> 24 hourI’ve recently installed solar panels on my RV to help keep the batteries charged in the winter. But I’ve found that the cables included with the chargers tend to be way too short. So I ordered these ‘SAE Extension Cables’ to remedy the situation. These cables work great with one exception. They seem to be well made and fit perfectly on my OEM SAE solar cables. There is no drop in voltage when I use them. My only complaint, however, is that these cables are not at all pliable or bendable when they are cold. You need to make sure you store them at room temperature before you install them. It makes your job a lot easier. All in all…with the exception of the. ‘bending problem’, I’m happy with these solar power extension cables and can recommend them.

> 24 hourThese cables are of excellent quality. They mated perfectly with the existing 4 conductor plug as an extension to charge a motorcycle battery remotely. I plan to use for powering pool cover pump, too.

> 24 hourThe plugs fit securely into my existing SAE plugs. The wire gauge is a bit small for the current from all my solar panels, but more than adequate for one of them. Having ten extra feet of cord between panels and battery is really nice for moving the panels around to get the best sun but not having to move the battery box. These are handy.

> 24 hourI am using this pair for a couple of hobby project builds, one a 12v Lifepor4 power box with an led spot on top, a lower powered COB and a set of USB ports, and a similar box with some 20v cordless tool batteries. The conductor on these looks to be CCA. That is cheaper material. But for me since run is short and 10awg is already overkill, I am not worried. These include a fuse, and SAE quick disconnect. The disconnect works fine. Insulation looks average, which is to say ok, and is quite flexible.

> 24 hourThese 2 conductor cables worked well but are made of a plastic that gets stiff at cooler temperatures. The ends plug into similar connectors and fit well. I got these cables to use in powering a 12 volt sprayer in the back of my ATV. I cut the cable and attached one end to the sprayer and the other to the ATV fuse box. Now I can easily unplug and remove the sprayer. These cables are expensive but work well. Part of the price is the heavier gauge wire. If you need heavy cables I would recommend these.

> 24 hourThese cables are well made and reasonably flexible. The molded pugs fit well in a power port as well as connecting to other cables. The set includes a union for extending the cable or for use as a gender-bender in different applications. The affixed pug covers are not super tight and Im not sure Id expect them to be waterproof but better than nothing. Good cable and reasonably priced.
