People complain how the cable is SO tight, but why would you want it loose? I dislike loose cables even more than I do tight cables. So I figured might as buy it and... It works! Its quite tight yes, but at least it isnt loose because loose cables can accidentally fall on their own and you wont get any charge what-so-ever. Overall this is actually a very well built cable. Though if you prefer, you can always buy the offical cable licenced by PlayStation at a wallmart or here on amazon. Just dont yank the cable and youll be fine.

I havent owned this charger very long but while charging my Vita fell 4 on to indoor-outdoor carpet and I guess the weight of the Vita plus the impact completely shattered the plastic casing of the charger and severed the microchip from the cord. So, I have to buy another charger already, which is annoying. Still, the price point on this is better than most, although if the product is that fragile its probably better to take a chance on a sturdier charger.

First of all, you must know that this is ONLY the PS Vita - USB cable, and not the outlet adapter. Next, it takes a few charges to fit but works like a charm once it shapes to fit your vita. Overall this charger is great and well worth the money I paid to get my handheld back.

Pretty good replacement cable. Decent size, pretty tough all in all pretty great. The only flaw is the connector to the vita itself is pretty tight so it takes a bit more effort to remove or insert the cable compared to the official sony one.

So there are some reviews saying this cable doesn’t work. And that had me hesitant to try it. But it’s pretty cheap so I decided to go ahead and buy it anyway. When it came, I plugged it into my laptop to charge, tried plugging it into an iPhone charger and even an iPad charger. Absolutely nothing. No charge. I was very upset and kicking myself for not listening to the poor reviews, but then I googled the issue and it turns out the first gen PS Vitas take a ton to charge. So you need a power supply that’s more than an iPad charger or your laptop USB. I have a PS4 at home as well, so I plugged it in there and it instantly started charging. This is not a problem with the wire, this is a PS Vita issue. If you have your original wire that came with the vita but only the USB part is broken, you can plug it into that. But if you don’t have the original wire (which I lost) your best bet to charge will be a PS4 — laptops and other mobile chargers will not work. If you don’t have access to a PS4, I suggest looking into getting the original wire for the vita, as this USB Cable alone will not be enough. But if you have a P4, buy this and don’t give it another thought. Charges perfectly with the P4 and is a very affordable price

The cable works great, however the random messages advertising other products while begging for a review are annoying beyond belief. I dont review cables for 3 months minimum, that way I know they have lasted longer than a convenience store cable. I got 7 quests to review this Cable in the first month. Four stars for the cable, half a star for the email and its support team.

not trying to make a sex joke, but yea, everyone is right, its a tight fit. you do gotta force it in there the first time, almost thought it would break the charger off, but it works. pulled it out and it works smoother every time. just be wary it is one of those items thats probably made in china but whatever, it works and thats all we ask, right?

This PS Vita charger fairly good, it fits really snug in the Vita itself unlike the last charger I had. Overall the arent any problems with it and I would recommend it.

Works perfectly as I needed it to. Lots of comments say thats its a tight fight, or being concerned about the fit. its fit nice and snug. No bit of force to plug in. If you cant plug in this cord without thinking its a bit tight. Youre a pansy-ass
