12-04-2025Bottom line its better quality than what came with the Vita. A little firm putting it in initially but I have my Vita charging on it now after replacing the frayed cable that came with the Vita. It works and is SOLID quality - period. I buy a LOT of USB based cables and make/purchase my own Ethernet cables. It is exactly how the image shows and is double shielded. For $7 how can you beat this?!

> 3 daynot trying to make a sex joke, but yea, everyone is right, its a tight fit. you do gotta force it in there the first time, almost thought it would break the charger off, but it works. pulled it out and it works smoother every time. just be wary it is one of those items thats probably made in china but whatever, it works and thats all we ask, right?

Greater than one weekWorks perfectly as I needed it to. Lots of comments say thats its a tight fight, or being concerned about the fit. its fit nice and snug. No bit of force to plug in. If you cant plug in this cord without thinking its a bit tight. Youre a pansy-ass

> 3 dayThis PS Vita charger fairly good, it fits really snug in the Vita itself unlike the last charger I had. Overall the arent any problems with it and I would recommend it.

> 3 dayThis is a charging cable for the PS Vita. There isnt much to say about it. It plugs in and works. The only thing that I dont like about it, is that it is a big bigger than the OEM cable at the connector. This makes it a bit tight when putting into the PS Vita and requires a bit more force to remove.

Greater than one weekThis cord works how it is supposed too. I do not know how it will hold up in the long run, but as of now it does the job.

Greater than one weekIt seems to work as advertised. My only issue is that I had to work on the plug to get it to go into my PS Vita. (Model 1001)

> 3 daySo there are some reviews saying this cable doesn’t work. And that had me hesitant to try it. But it’s pretty cheap so I decided to go ahead and buy it anyway. When it came, I plugged it into my laptop to charge, tried plugging it into an iPhone charger and even an iPad charger. Absolutely nothing. No charge. I was very upset and kicking myself for not listening to the poor reviews, but then I googled the issue and it turns out the first gen PS Vitas take a ton to charge. So you need a power supply that’s more than an iPad charger or your laptop USB. I have a PS4 at home as well, so I plugged it in there and it instantly started charging. This is not a problem with the wire, this is a PS Vita issue. If you have your original wire that came with the vita but only the USB part is broken, you can plug it into that. But if you don’t have the original wire (which I lost) your best bet to charge will be a PS4 — laptops and other mobile chargers will not work. If you don’t have access to a PS4, I suggest looking into getting the original wire for the vita, as this USB Cable alone will not be enough. But if you have a P4, buy this and don’t give it another thought. Charges perfectly with the P4 and is a very affordable price

Greater than one weekI was scared it wouldnt work without that fat AC adapter piece, but I plugged it into my Galaxys phone charger wall adapter piece and it charged beautifully. It fits and functions as I had hoped. Plus on top of that, I love how iKnowTech follows up with their customers.

Greater than one weekAs a disclaimer, I bought my Vita (PCH1001) used which came with a third-party cable so I have no idea what the official cable is like. That being said, this thing is pretty tight in trying to put it in and taking it out (on the Vita end, the USB end fits easily)...thought I was going to break the Vitas slot the first couple of times. But it works, so thats all I can ask.
